Hey just wondering if any guys with turbos or any kind of set up are running front exit exhaust thru the fender? If so how do you guys get away with running it on the street? I was thinking of running my turbo exhaust out the front fender .... I just dont know if its gonna get me in trouble with the cops. So if anyone is running a combo like this please chime in.

It sounds horrible and is so obnoxious loud, everyone will hate you, especially your neighbors. If it's a street car that is driven regularly, build a real exhaust system with mufflers and run Loudvalves boost activated cutouts.

I was thinking of adding the muffler between the downpipe to give some manners for the street. I guess my main concern was the downpipe being so low to the ground.

Thank God a turbo guy said this. Bumper exhaust is ugly, unnecessary, and will keep you from running street classes at events. Like bad cobra said, add cutouts if you want but have a real exhaust to keep unwanted attention away on the street.

Turbos quite down the drone and redik engine noise as in it’s not like running straight out of the x pipe that’s too much to me but who doesn’t smile at the sound of a jet goes by them?

Completely agree, it’s the cheap easy way out. Fabricate an appropriate exhaust for a street/strip car. I stuffed twin 3.5” downpipes thru a Fox Kmember so it can be done.

True it’s an opinion. Just so many guys seem to do it to look ‘racecar’ but to me there’s no place on a street/strip car, just like open headers. I hate seeing a clean ride and then seeing these or bullhorns, makes me shake my head. Engineer a functional system, don’t take the easy way out. But again, my opinion.

Post a pic of what you’re working with now and we can give some suggestions.

Really need better pics, but it looks low but also that there’s lots of room for improvement in tucking it up.
So there’s some good news from what little I can see.

Yea not the best pic, is it a single turbo? Exhaust looks a bit small to me if it’s a single out.

BiminiLX do you have pics/ vids of your setup? I’m curious to what it sounded like. I’m always changing setups and whatnot, I like the way mine sounds but I wouldn’t be against classing it up at some point and seeing if I like it.

Single turbo, 3 inch downpipe. How do the loudvalves sound compare to fender exhaust?
