After cruising with a few coyotes I noticed my borla touring + o/R-H is pretty quiet. I like the sound but I've been contemplating cutouts. Are they even that much louder than the touring borla cat back or should I consider an Atak. I did have a shop GT with only a midpipe offroad and it was all sorts of loud but that's nowhere comparable to a 4.6 on 10psi

Imho unless it’s for the track I think cutouts would sound like shit. I ran an open X on my 92 GT years ago for a week or so and it sounded like crap.

You want loud that sounds good, off road x and stingers or ATAK. Sell the touring to recoup some of the costs.

Pro Chamber and Stingers is always the answer.

That is a good set up. A friend of mine has. Thinking about it down the road. I got a catted magnaflow and stingers. If he wants loud though off road x.

OP, I bet your car sounds good. Coyotes make a lot of noise, not good noise either IMO. I’d leave it alone.

if noise doesn't equal fast....it equals annoying. I can't stand loud cars that can't escape their own shadow

Other than driving through complete darkness, and while considering that light travels over 670 million miles per hour, how does one escape his shadow?

I had cutouts on my Impala. Never again will I have them, ever. Get some rowdy muffler system if you want loud.

Friend of mine ran cut outs on his. I think he had Bassani mids and offroad X. It was loud when they were open, but it didn't sound bad. Not like the newer 5.0's bad. He was running a Magnaflow catback and when the cutouts were closed we could talk normally. I was considering running something like that not too long ago.
