Anyone else frustrated with Ford over the next GT500?

I'm well aware of the fact that Ford was able to ditch the tax for a period of time. That said, I don't want 3.31 gears in a 2020 GT500 either like the 13/14 had.

Not living in the US or being a US citizen, I’m fascinated. Where does the Gas Guzzler Tax go?

To the IRS, then supposedly to the EPA. Surely the millions can be trusted in Government hands to encourage automakers to use technology for cleaner more fuel efficient vehicles. Yeah buddy!

I would feel better if the government charged the manufacturers the tax rather than us. Since Jan 27, 2013 my car has consumed 630 gallons of gas. How big is my carbon foot print?

The cost would still be passed onto the consumer of a given vehicle, possibly in the base price.

After checking around, the Guzzler Tax is charged to the manufacturer, they turn around and pass it on to the customer on the window sticker.

Putting it on the sticker is to let us know the tax was not Ford's idea, rather that of people we elected.

I'm with ya pal! Don't you get sick of clowns like Mark Worman (Mopar gave him the 1st 1,000 HP Crate Engine at SEMA). What a J.O. he is!!! Anyway, wouldn't own a Mopar if you paid me! I learned to drive in a 69 Mustang and I have a 2012 GT500 (850 HP documented and built on my B-day 5-31-2011). LET'S GO FORD!!!!!

Ford sure has pumped out a lot of CF Track Package TT cars and put them out on the street as of late. One of the things that matters to me, however small in the overall picture, is I want a black Recaro (cloth or leather - it doesn't matter) that is void of the white accents. The only car I have seen to date like this was a silver one that Ford showed when the media was provided with a plethora of photos. The car I'm speaking of looked to have had a cloth Recaro with a small "GT500" embroidered on the headrest portion of the seat.

The contrast becomes clear when you see the Recaros with the white accents...

I hope Ford hasn't chosen to shit the bed on this one...

Ford has yet to comment on the percentage of airflow that is obstructed when the rain tray is in place. Heck, I'm still looking for a clear shot of one in its entirety and installed.

No joke, those white accents are just hideous. At lease with the prior year GT500 we had the option with what color stripes were ordered. I ordered the black stripes for the sole purpose of not getting white accent seats. At least give us this option Ford

Like these seats?

Ford may be using the same process here and putting these nice color contrasting seats for a nice visual effect, but in reality, they will be all black like the seats in the GT350.

Ford showed those seats (or "seat covers" I should say) but never installed them in a production R model.
