Who's worried about wheels being stolen? Ford is protecting your wheels in the best possible way: THEY WON'T SELL YOU THE CAR.

This is my problem with the carbon fiber wheels.
19 W/SHELBY, 19X11 FRONT, CARBON FIBER
Wheel, Alloy - Ford (HR3Z-1007-G) $4,175.20
19 W/SHELBY, 19X11 REAR, CARBON FIBER
Wheel, Alloy - Ford (HR3Z-1007-H) $3,516.61

You gotta know the roads your driving on with these cars, or pay very close attention. Mine look brand new after almost 5000 miles. I'll probably put on some new tires later this year. I found a place that will put them on, fully insured and have done carbon fiber rims in the past. That part of its a pain in the ass, but I love the rims. Honestly, I wish they put on an aluminum rim that looked as nice with MPS4's
Just as Tob alluded to. Ford is clueless as to the consumers wants and needs list. I sometime wonder who these geniuses are.

Sad part is that polling for them couldn't be easier. Be it large car shows across the country (that they often attend), tracks nation wide, message boards, etc, it would seem that they choose not to listen.

Ford executives and engineers keep talking about how track capable the 2020 GT500 is. Then who in the **** thought it was a good idea to have large, white accents on the seats/interior? Guys at the track don't wear slacks and sandals and may at times have a bit of grime on them on a given track day. How did black Recaros not make the cut? I get it, some designer just couldn't help himself/herself/itself and had to gay it up and make everything look "fresh" and "pretty." What the **** Ford - wake up!

looks to me like they tried to curve the white to appear like the outline of a cobra head on the sides of the seat. Went overboard with it I think. They should have a option to black out the seats, I choose black stripes on my 11 and thankfully the seat highlights then were stripe matched.

I didn’t even think about them not being functional for the track. To me, they just look a little awkward and out of place. I keep thinking they’ll grow on me, and they still might, but the black recaro in the 350 was simply a sexy and great seat.

Why do you care? It’s slower uglier and has less power than your car. You would never settle for second best.

You don’t want the GT500 so why are you so obsessed with it?

I think I paid $1300 in GG tax on my '09 GT500 and $1300 on my GT350.

The DCT is lauded for a number of things including a potential increase in fuel efficiency over other transmission choices. The GT500 will make great power and I'm quite certain Ford has milked as much efficiency as they can get out of them. I don't expect to pay much more than before.

Ford officials were alerted to the possible issue by "a handful of employees" through its internal Speak Up channel, according to the company statement. The main concern is whether it miscalculated "road load" during testing.

Road load is essentially the force put on a vehicle while driving at a constant speed over a level surface. A lighter load in the mathematical equation could result in a better fuel economy than stated.

Ford Is Under Criminal Investigation for Emissions-Testing Program
Ford’s issue involves tests done on a dynamometer—a device that allows a car to simulate driving by placing its wheels on rollers, like a giant treadmill. To ensure that dynamometer testing accurately reflects real-world driving, testers calculate a measurement called “road load,” which simulates aerodynamic drag, friction, and tire-related losses.

According to the EPA, the methods a manufacturer uses to characterize road load force are optional, but it is the manufacturer’s responsibility to ensure those methods conform with EPA rules.

The high down force, aerodynamic drag, friction, and tire-related losses are not the friend of fuel efficiency.

The 13-14 GT500's had no GG tax. I have been tracking my fuel mileage since the day I drove the car off the dealers lot, over 6+ years. My average mpg over that time is 14.14 mpg. This is mostly around town driving with a mix of freeway driving. I wonder how this car avoided a GG tax?
