List a band or artist you miss. Either they are retired, died, faded into obscurity or are no longer together as a band. Any genre, any era.

Ill start:

I miss the shit out of Pantera. Was lucky to see them in their prime, hell even got to see them have ****IN' SLAYER open for them once. Dimebag Darrell was a once in a generational talent on the guitar... he has been and will continue to be missed. RIP Dimebag

also

I miss SLAYER. Original lineup. No disrespect to Paul Bostaph or Gary Holt. I had the absolute pleasure of seeing the ORIGINAL Slayer lineup on the 2006 Jager tour. Even ended the show with Raining Blood while they were rained on in BLOOD. :D last time I saw slayer live... lucky as hell. Absolutely lucky as hell. RIP Jeff Hanneman

I hear that brother. Pantera was great. Always chock full o' riffs.
I miss the original Slayer as well. Reign In Blood is one of the best albums ever recorded. Every time I listen to it, I'm blown away.

The metal bands of the 80's and 90's were tops. So many great bands and music.

Im all in with Hendrix. First rays of the new rising sun is probably my favorite album because it showed a new direction he was heading into. Too bad we missed out on 70's Hendrix.

He was strange.

Black Sabbath
Iron Butterfly

One band still hanging around that does a good show is The Beach Boys. Grew up in SoCal around the surf music scene.
