I saw that he's on the stock block and making a pass in the 9's at almost 150MPH. I assume this block won't last long. Actually, I'm pretty sure it will not.
Do you guys think those HP and TQ numbers are correct? Almost 890lbs of torque at the wheels?!?! Does this seem right to you guys? Pretty insane if it is.

Yep definitely accurate. The Gen 3 is very very efficient and is a monster on boost.

Mine went 144 mph on 8-9 psi.

This car you posted is on 16 which is crazy lol.

The motor at 16 psi is on borrowed time for sure....So is the trans.

Damnnnnnnnnn. Yeah, your car moves out quick too!

So what's the sweet spot for power/torque on these '18 and '19 cars Dom? I'm not that familiar with them as I don't go on the other Mustang forum much any more.
Safe power/torque wise at the wheels? 800HP and 600TQ?

That’s a good question broham.

I don’t know why they wouldn’t live a good life at 800-850 whp. The Gen 2 can do that all day long so should be same for Gen 3 if on a good tune and fuel.

10r80 is appearing to be a bit weaker than the 6r though.

Mine is fine so far and my car is making right at or around 800whp.

Gonna try and get her dyno’d next weekend.

I know of a 18 that had a twin setup that went like.. 8.7 @ 164 or something insane on the stock engine and tranny. It's since been pulled, built and is running a TH400.

There is also a whipple car that runs bottom 9s on stock engine and trans in the mid 150s.

They probably won't last long like that but they make enough passes to show it's possible to do a few times lol.

it looked kick ass. I did not think much of '18's before seeing this car
Same guy has bunch of cars - Zr1/Z06/SRT Jeep/Hellcat - I saw it at Houston house of power after it was built

Yeah, that's nasty.

My buddy bought a used 2018 Ecoboost convertible over the weekend and drove it into work today. First time I seen one so up close and personal. Awesome looking car! That digital dash is bonkers! Killer interior. I kinda want a 2019 Mustang. lol

Correct. 7th gear doesnt like tons pf power. Most bolt on blower cars are fine though.
