This is the coolest thing. While growing up, my twin brother and I always drooled over a 98 SVT cobra in our neighborhood. We later got 97 Laser Red Mustang V6s and always lusted after that Cobra
The cobra was sold into Las Vegas, and by some miracle, we had the chance to finally own it.

That's awesome, Danny, that you guys were able to find THE '98 Cobra from your childhood. You've got a lot of work to do on it to bring it back to pristine condition, but you'll get it all done in due time. Have fun with the project, and thanks for sharing your video.

Thanks,
Yeah, its good my other cars are nice enough that I don't have to have this one "perfect," but over time we will see what we can do.

Honestly I wasn’t your biggest fan when you started this deal, but I can acknowledge I was wrong and you are doing good. Many of us take this knowledge for granted, we can solve the issues, fix the cars and go on our way......but there is a whole crew/generation coming up behind us that don’t know their assholes from a hole in the ground.

As I get older I to am finding myself drawn closer to the cars I drooled over when I was younger. Now I get why a lot of middle aged guys still drive Muscle Cars. It's all about those memories....

I enjoy your YouTube videos and despite having been around Terminators for almost 15 years I still learned some cool facts from you.

On a side note, most people know you post because you're a car guy. Keep up the good work.

Thanks man!
It seems more and more these cars are finding me. I hear you, new cars are nice, but there is something about the era of when we were all young and wanted something we couldn’t just go out and buy. It’s awesome to be able to pick these cars up for cheap- even if they need a little work to get back to where they were. I love the 94-98 cobras, but wasn’t out looking to pick one up. After all, I have a terminator, a mach 1, and a GT already- but to have THIS car from my childhood made it a must.
Thanks again

Great video. Great content. Keep up the great work. Your channel is better than anything I could watch on tv and better than other youtubers out there. Genuine.

I still have mine, it's in the shop til April"ish" lol. :D
I've owned it since '04, it's not going anywhere. Almost went with a Terminator when I was shopping (my father worked at Ford so I would have had a great deal) but in the long run decided I preferred the styling of the SN95 (I've owned a couple now) over the new edge. SN95 for life, for me.;)

That’s cool. We went to track down the original owner last night but he moved. We will have to get the original owners contact from the guy who sold us the car.

There was a really cool black 96 Cobra the dealership owner’s son had here in town. He later got a black terminator

IMHO the SN95s were my favorite cobras. I have had 94, 01, 03 and outta those I prefer the looks of the SN95 snakes, such a subtle sexy look.

I’m glad to see people are liking the 94-98s. I grew up with one and though I’ve grown to love the new edge, I feel many 94-98s are overlooked

Good story and nice find. I think we are about the same age range
I have been browsing classifieds looking for a black 94-95 cobra. Maybe a mystic 96

Keep up the good vids!

Wait, if he’s older than xsellr8, doesn’t that make him xsellr7?

Loving the series xsellr8! Keep the vids coming!!! You’re my favorite youtuber by far!

I think it’s pretty interesting the haters don’t even watch the videos, so how can they talk?? Sounds pretty ignorant to me.

I always bought a pacific green 97 Cobra. I think it was about 2001 or so and the car had only 12,000 miles. It was showroom clean and $12,500 if I remember correctly. I wanted it, but the insurance at 18 and the payment was going to hurt.
