What do you use to mount your cell phone?

I bought this mount, made in germany, and attached a magnetic pad to the face of it. Works great. When it works great. It is almost perfect except that the metal clip that holds it to the plastic trim continues to come off and fall to the floor. Then you hit the gas and the entire assembly (with the phone) falls to the floor beside the clip.

I hate the cheap Chinese bulky robotic looking mounts. I want something that is minimalistic looking or stock looking. I haven't had much luck with mounting things to any part of the dash with the double sided tape. No matter where I put, no matter how well I clean the surface, the tape doesn't stick.

Wow $70 bucks for a mount is a bit obscene. I hear ya though, really no good place to put your phone down in the Terminator.

If I need to see my phone I let it ride in the shifter bezel on a microfiber cloth.

I wouldn't mind something that clips into the coin holder. That's usually where I lay my phone if I have GPS going.

Do you have a pic of that installed? I’m having trouble envisioning that installed.

there is also a tipper mount that allows you to adjust the angle of the phone mount.
PanaVise® 15585 - Portagrip Phone Holder

Also..almost all the holders you buy will lock into the bracket hook that you see; so don't throw away any phone holders!

I am not happy with how busy it is around the steering wheel.

I also found that the one for the 2002+ Audi A4 works for the right side of the climate control when mounted to the bottom right bolt.

I have different panavise mount coming in the mail today and hopefully will post up pics of both "soon."

Hi shurur, did you end up sticking with the 2002+ Audi A4 mount (model 75102-607) or did you find another one that fit better on the right hand side of the radio? Thanks.

Also found that 75137-107 works too.
It mounts on the top bolt and needs a 1/4" hole drilled for the guide posts on the ac panel.
It doesn't snug against the panel and the radio bezel needs to be shaved a bit.

No Terminator here, but I just use the cup holder or Passengers seat in my cars.
I'm a minimalist and don't want anything clunky in the car/attached to the phone.
