Dam everyone and their momma wants a coupe right now. Good luck clean one's are hard to find and usually over 15 grand
Indeed. I should have kept my 92 notch. Sold it, then bought my 03 cobra.
There is a gray one in one of these wtb threads but dude wants 20 grand but looks super clean.
20k it better be sub 20k miles. I see one on eBay with 3x,xxx miles and they want 25k! It even has the cheaper interior...

No I think it's like 120 thousand miles not worth 20 to me. I messaged this other guy who tried to sell me his on here and it was super clean but when he messaged me I had just bought one. If He text me back it's still available I'll send you his number.

These cars have been getting very popular and will continue to rise as long as the fad last.

I have seen cars be fads before. The 78 79 trans am has stabilized in the market where as in years past the prices were skyrocketing. The GS Buick is another one. Not saying the fox is but it can happen.

I am aware there are fads. That's just the way the car market works.
However, the 87-93 5.0 coupes are not a fad. Unless you call having a following pretty much since day 1 a fad.

I had a feeling you would get the urge that the rest of us former fox body owners have. Luckily almost all of my friends still have 86-93 cars. Super nice stuff too. Only one coupe though. It's an 86 though. Blueish grey color. Converted to a stick and I think less than 70k miles on it.

I'm not arguing your point but merely pointing to history the TA and GS were huge too but topped out. Fads can last a long time.

This could take me a year before I find something I can't resist.

Sold my 86GT 13 months ago with the intentions of replacing it with a nice/clean, stock, low mile fox Saleen. Still haven't found "the right one". I would however, settle for a coupe in which you describe. I haven't had a nice coupe in over 28 years. Good luck...

Good luck with the search! My search recently ended with a 32k mile black '87.
Definitely a hard find these days and owners are not letting them go cheap.
