Nasty snowstorm for CO-KS-MO-IL-IN-VA and nasty ice storm into S MO & then GA into NC later on.

Meanwhile, been a pretty mild winter in MN.

We've been told to expect 5 - 7" of snow before tomorrow night.

We'll probably get 1 - 3"

I could do a GA ice storm. I could handle a full blizzard. I still have leaves on my trees. I would love to see Winter.

Here in Wisconsin, I've used my snowblower exactly once around New Years Day. Maybe 2 other times I ran a shovel up and down the sidewalk. I'm fine with this.

Blizzard, maybe. But if you wish for an ice storm, you need your head checked.
I've been through a few. It turns everything into a quiet land of ice.

The downside is the tree and debris cleanup after it's over.

Or, the damage to the trees that takes decades to recover from. That's more important and discouraging.

Just southwest of St.louis here, just got home from playing in the jeep. We've got probably ~8" and its still coming down. People are morons, cars are littered all over the roads. Helped a handful of people get un-stuck where I could but with most cars not having to hooks there's not much you can do.

Just over a month ago I was looking at 14 inches of the stuff on the ground. That's huge for my part of NC. Not to mention my little man decided he wanted to make his appearance during that crap.

I'm just as much not looking forward to this. Ice = no no.

Along with power outages. I've been through more than a few myself. No, bro, you really don't want an ice storm. Tranquil to the eye, but potentially devastating to the area hit.

On a brighter note, no snow now nor in the long term forecast. And that's just fine with me. I'd love it if my Ariens snowblower sits in my garage all winter unused. Definitely.
