Thats against a 5.0 correct? The demon loses to know one.

It’s actually just a demon, 5.0’s are far faster than simple demons. I raced a stock 2010.75 5.0 with my 1200whp cobra and couldn’t pass him until 275mph. It was a tough battle. 5.bro’s are unstoppable

All I see is a Demon and a bitch. Trade the Demon for a GT350/GT500 then you would see one bitch a GT350/GT500 and more than a few beautiful women checking out the ride!

It's OK, he's queer.

His sexual preference looks to be hetero, his vehicle preference appears to be dike or metro. Now when he buys a gt500 he’ll be in good shape.

I’d have a lot of admiration for a lesbian rocking a demon. I’m not threatened by a metro person driving a civic.

We all know that a gt500 owner is content with whiskey and bar girls.

I doubt it will be over 800 as the 5.0/5.2 Blocks aren't that strong without sleeves.

Im guessing 742hp/673Tq
3980lbs
7 speed DCT and TR6060
Carbon Fiber Wheels
Active cooling, and all that stuff lethal posted on their IG
Magnetic Ride of course
Crossing my fingers for a Track Package of some kind
Base Price around $65k..optioned out to about 75k

I think you’re optioned out too low.

If a base manual is 65, a DCT, CF wheels, and all the track wizardry would have to be more than 10K.

Still pumped.

I still don't see how Ford will offer two transmission choices given the fact that their top dog only had one offering for the past 25 years. Moreover, were they to offer two completely different transmissions the cost of each goes up significantly in a low volume vehicle such as this.

You're not going to have to worry about that.

Baumann better get cracking on the 10 speed control software, they said their 6R80 controller will be able to handle that.

SID obviously knows better than I, but I don’t see how Ford could NOT finally offer two options on their top Mustang.

Auto only would be sacrilege to the Mustang name.
Manual only would leave too much performance on the table. (I suppose the same reasoning would’ve lead to an auto in previous models..but damnit, this all I have to back up my case, so I’m sticking with it)

Interesting that Ford would only choose one option rather than two; manual and DCT.
Am very interested in this car and may end up in one if I can locate the options/colors I want without an ADM.

"Finally" has come and gone. With the passage of time we have witnessed increased complexity and cost. When I was a kid you had either a C6 or a Top Loader. Now I'm a ****ing dinosaur and modern times are calling for radical propulsion system restructuring. You can't harken back forever and at some point have to move forward. A manual variant for this car would be unique, be it a TR6060 or TR6070, and expensive considering a 2-3 year run. A DCT is going to be even more expensive but does bring with it a bit of a performance advantage and the potential for better emissions/mpg (even if only fractionally). The ten speed auto would seem a natural but every time I have ever brought it up to people I know and trust they shoot it down.

Going to be an interesting moment when we learn what the decision was. Hopefully we hear the rationale from Ford's perspective along with it.

Interesting that Ford would only choose one option rather than two; manual and DCT.
As I have mentioned, they have done it for decades now in their highest performing Mustang model. Changing that philosophy at this point would add quite a bit in terms of cost in what will probably already be more than some at Ford wanted to be asking for this car.
