I recently switched my 4 Cobras over to a collector car insurance policy. When I was on the phone with their agent, we were talking values for their “agree value” plans. She was listing value ranges for the various years and I was absolutely SHOCKED at the values she was stating for the 93 Cobra! She had a range, with the high end concours level cars valued at $44k!

I’ve never considered my cars to be “investments,” but wowza! My 93 value has gone waaay higher than when I bought it in 2014.

Gratuitous picture time... 11k miles and original down to the tires.

For sure. I briefly considered ordering my Viper ACR in Teal under the One of One program, but the GTS-R eventually won out. Close though and I think that color would have been sick!

Here’s mine with my buddies Novi 2000 blown red ‘93.
His dad had just sold a black or we would have had all 3 colors hibernating together.

Am I crazy for doing a full Coyote/6-speed/IRS build on my Teal ‘93?
Oh well it was the car I wanted in high school and I plan on keeping it.
Nice to see it going up though.

Crazy? Well, it depends on how the car was before the mods. If it was a pristine low-mile car, you’d lean more towards the crazy side. If it was well used and needed some love, you’d be less crazy modding it. In the end, it’s your car, do whatever makes you smile! I’m sure it will be one hell of a car when it’s done!

I absolutely LOVE the 96 Cobra wheels on your 93! I hadn’t seen that combo before... it looks fantastic!

Your collection is missing a 4 eyed notch. A Coyote, T56, IRS 4 eyed notch. The Cobra looks like such a nice example I'd be hesitant to swap it but at the end of the day it's your car.

Those are all great Mustangs, but they don’t neccessarily go with the collection I have acquired. I have 1 non-SVT Mustang, which I bought back in 91 when I graduated from college... it’s my 89 GT vert. All others are an SVT product. I also have amassed a hoard of SVT memorabilia.

When’s the 350R joining? :)
-J

I got a “new” toy a couple weeks ago that I’ve been working on to get camera ready. Once done, I’ll post a video. As for the S550, I’m thinking the 2020 GT500... it’s yummy.
