Why you don't see Anti-Lag V8's

So we all have a pretty common understanding of what a Anti-Lag system is and what it does, how it works and popular applications.

So why don't we see V8 anti-lag cars? The concept between ALS and 2step is often confused and there's no shortage of LS cars on YouTube claiming anti lag systems when in fact it's just 2 step. So understanding how it works, despite a V8 being arguably more efficient in power development, why don't we see Anti lag in v8 cars if turbo lag can strike any application it's used on. 400hp, 1000hp even 3000hp cars can suffer. So why don't we see it.... Ever? Even jokingly....

I found it briefly mentioned on big LS hp builds but 9/10 confuse them with 2step for social media views. I found more about Mercedes using it than any domestic. I'm just seeing if there's an underlying problem with why domestic v8s don't use it.

Because 1200hp TT V-8s actually make torque below 5000rpm.

All the sixes and fours you see need to heavily rely on the turbo to make huge numbers because they just dont have the displacement to make up for the lack of torque off the turbo. oSme of those 900hp sixes arent making 200tq at 3000rpm.

To hit to the tires is too much most times unless the track is prepped perfectly and/or your suspension is set up as strip only.
