Being from the era of fair reporting MSM news sucks. Days of Huntley/Brinkley are loooong gone. That is why I watch very little news. I watch the local news and try to watch national news. Internet stuff I ignore other then Fox, OAN, or Newsmax. Yeah I am conservative so I will leave the commie channels to the liberal nutswingers.

Lol....yes me too....I am from the era of rotary dial phones even before they were hanging on the wall. I would love to have had the MSM back in the day when JFK was leaving his DNA all over the White House. I am sure he would have been coddled by the Dems and MSM just like HRC has been.

Most of the time I am watching business news because that is what I am mostly interested in.....making money. I find myself watching OAN often and like the Daily Ledger.

Yahoo News does some really shady things in their comments sections. The political news they provide links to is mostly liberal sites but they do link to conservative sites as well. Anyways, if you are looking at the comments in an article about Trump it will either be almost 100% conservatives or 100% liberals. There is never a mix of positive and negative comments. It is like they are filtering the comments to attract one group.

Just stick with SVTP. Anything that's worth knowing gets posted here.

X1000. Here is what i do/did OP.

Quite social media back in 2011. Waste of time. SVTP is fine and sid said it best, if its worth knowing, it will be here.

Stay away from msm

I only go to specific online outlets for individual interests. (Auto news, science, etc)

The world we live in is extremely toxic and shallow. The more you are connected, the more exposed you are. The ways i listed help me find relevant info and news and cuts down most bs.

This is exactly why I don't watch the news, read the paper, and now I'm to the point of closing my Facebook account. I haven't been on there for a couple weeks. Only thing I miss is some good deals on cobra part's.

Hahahahahahah FOX news is no better than the rest of them except their local channels. I watch the local Fox channels because they are local news and a LOT less of the slanted national bullshit.

And if you wanna get pissed off, just flip over to MSNBC of CNN for a few short minutes. That'll do it.
this is true .. lol
