Um, What? a hood a spoiler is the only difference? Dont spew FAKE news @CNN
His comment was that they used the old headlights and added a body kit to support a thought that they put no thought into it. Explain to me how the 10-14 GT500 LOOKS that much different than the rest of the Mustang lineup to give them credibility of putting a lot of thought into it. Heck, even I have a hard time from a distance distinguishing them a far distance and I own one.

Now, I dont agree with that opinion. They have a body they have to stick with the most part. The thought and development comes with what's under the skin.

I gotta say I’m kinda over this car. The way Ford has handled this release is very disappointing. I think the bottom line is the GT500 was an afterthought. It wasn’t in the original plan back in 14-15 with the S550. Then the demand for 707hp Hellcats went through the roof and Ford realized they wanted some of that. So the development started late. But the way they have teased us is weak. Plus let’s be honest, 18 GTs weigh 3800+.. heck GT350Rs weigh over 3700 with electronic pack.... no way this car will be under 4K.. I’m betting 4150... but if it truly has 778hp it’ll be fast....
as far as the looks. I’m kinda not digging it. But I have to admit I didn’t like the S550 at first either. Now I love the GT350 body.... so hope it’ll grow on me.
Next is price.. is there anyway this car stickers for less than 80k? Then add the adm.... it’ll be crazy. Most dealers are still at 10-25k over for a GT350R...
So I’m still just melancholy ove this whole car...

I cannot wait for this thing! If its badass, I will definitely get an Automatic version. If its not badass I am getting another low mile 13/14 GT500.

Grills, bumper, splitter, rear valance, rear bumper, spoiler, wheels, rockers for a 13/14. 10-12 had the same rear bumper. Thats alot of body panels considering its the same unibody. Only really fenders and deck lid that are left.

Hate to break it to you but if you put stripes on a v6 and saw it at night most people will think its the same car. Every time i see a striped 13/14 i think its a gt500 and get disappointed its a v6.

I have a feeling this will be a 6 figure car with the ADMS we're going to see. :( It really needs to be truly special!

I said it from the beginning when they revealed the easter egg pic. Read the mileage backwards, and you have $81,211

The old headlights were used so they could use the carbon radiator support from the GT350/R

This part sucks. The amount of crap packed into modern cars just packs on the weight. I would love to be able to buy a factory performance car that doesn’t weight 2+ tons. I want a modern version of the 2000 cobra r. Leave the heated seats touch screens climate control over weight plush interiors to the gt cars and please let me have the option for a super simple functional performance car. I know I sound old. If anyone needs me I’ll be outside yelling at the leaves that won’t stop falling.
