Didn't see the answer to the MERP or ADM question in his signature. Just sayin!

Rational problem solving steps:

1.) Read Signature.
2.) Realize it's Ray Skillman Ford
3.) Go to www.rayskillmanford.com
4.) Search "New Raptors" = HERE
5.) Compare price to MSRP.
6.) Question why all of the "MSRPs" are increased over the price on the window sticker, then shown a discount to $1,000 over MSRP.... o_O
7.) Look at "Used Raptors" = HERE
8.) Realize that the pre-owned Raptors with 15-25k miles are being advertised at about MSRP. o_Oo_O
9.) Enjoy your weekend.

There is a difference between an "asking price" and an agreed upon price. I'm sure you've never said, "Here is what I would like to sell my used car for." And what you actually do. The Market value has been higher on the Raptors than MSRP. Ask anyone in California. We ship about 150 a year to California. That being said, the list price is $5,000 over MSRP on the Website. However, you can purchase the last 3 18's we have left now at $1,000 under MSRP (One of the 4, the Blue, just sold and was delivered) and for now, you can purchase one of the new 19's at MSRP, unless they start getting crazy again and the demand exceeds the supply. That's been the problem in the past. Literally, used Raptors would sell at the Auction for $5,000 over MSRP.... used.....

So, to answer the question, if you want to purchase an 18 Raptor for $1,000 under MSRP, or a 19 at MSRP, just let me know. We can also CUSTOM order one for you. Keep in mind, FORD raised the MSRP about $2,500 on the 19's. So obviously that number is fluid for the manufacturers MSRP as well, which with Ford raising their Price $450 every 90 days for the past 2 years and now $2,500 for 2019... They have merged the market value fairly well at the MSRP. So we're all still paying it.

Here is the basic breakdown (which can vary with other options)

2018 Raptor 802A Crew Cab- BASE Price - $53,660

EQUIPMENT GROUP 802A $9,770.00
CALIFORNIA EMISSIONS SYSTEM NO CHARGE
TWIN PANEL MOONROOF $1,295.00
FOLDABLE PICKUP BED EXTENDER $250.00
TAILGATE STEP $375.00
17" FORGED ALUMINUM WHEELS $1,165.00
TAILGATE APPLIQUE
RAPTOR TECHNOLOGY PACKAGE $1,950.00
SECOND-ROW HEATED SEATS $125.00
Factory Destination $1,495
----------------------------------------------------
Total MSRP - $70,085.00

-----In Comparison-----

2019 Raptor 802A Crew Cab- BASE Price - $55,840

EQUIPMENT GROUP 802A $9,365.00
CALIFORNIA EMISSIONS SYSTEM NO CHARGE
TWIN PANEL MOONROOF $1,495.00
FOLDABLE PICKUP BED EXTENDER $250.00
TAILGATE STEP $375.00
17" FORGED ALUMINUM WHEELS $1,865.00
TAILGATE APPLIQUE
RAPTOR TECHNOLOGY PACKAGE $1,695.00
SECOND-ROW HEATED SEATS $125.00
Factory Destination $1,495
----------------------------------------------------
Total MSRP - $72,535.00

Now the 2019's are not showing on the website yet, and again, the 18's that were listed on the website BEFORE the pricing was reduced were already listed. They show discounts.
You can click on the "Window Sticker" logo below the picture on any of them to see the MSRP and options included.

I can email window stickers of the 19's if anyone wants to see them.

No shame in your game. I hadn't seen the trick of raising the MSRP on a website just to be able to show a discount before, kudos. I'd be interested in the word track that your salesman use when explaining it to customers.

To each their own! I'm all for people maximizing their profit potentials, but I've always found it better to be straight with a customer than to stray on the deceptive side.

But again, I have no dog in this fight, all mine have been at invoice less hold back.

But now that you have brought my attention to California...I may start ordering all of mine with the CA Emissions package and shipping them out West.

Yeah, if your buying them at invoice less holdback and sell them a few months later, you'd prob do pretty well with the Cali folks... of course then they would want to know why your selling them for more than you paid for them...

Doesn't need it. All US sold Gen2 Raptors are CA emissions compliant.
Ordered mine without the "CA Emissions package" on the window sticker out of Plainfield, Indiana and had it shipped to me here in SoCal.

DMV & Emissions spot did not care. The emissions sticker under the hood of Gen2 Raptors is universal across all USDM sold Raptors and THAT's the sticker they look for.
