Very clean for the miles. Nice job keeping up with it. Was it more modded before or?

No. I got it from my buddy, very neglected and with a blown motor. Guy he bought it from pretty much left it for dead next to his garage for years. So I put an 05 aviator motor in it, new clutch, tob, pilot, flywheel, new v and t covet gaskets, t stat, painted and reconditioned valve covers and timing cover, stainless hardware, new tensioner and belt, fluids blah blah blah. I just went thru the whole car. I added the x pipe, exhaust, cut springs, and k&n filter. I put the hood stripe back on. Mach badge. Took all the aftermarket bing off of it and returned it to stock. I was also lucky enough to get the original window sticker and just recently got a build cert from Ford. It is one of 276 Azure Blue 03 Machs without the IUP (Interior Upgrade Package)! I thought that was pretty cool.

That's a wild Mach 1. Both with the graphics and the monster under the hood. Oh, and welcome to SVTPerformance! :)

Thanks, I actually thought I was a member on here back when I bought my 03 Cobra in 2003 but can't find my old username and log in lol! I am a long time Buick V6 racer but have owned several Mustangs over the years.

The car was built by a very good friend of mine who got tired of it. He never really finished the car and I am finally getting it sorted out the rest of the way. Paint is wild and something to see in person pictures really don't do it justice. People either love it or hate, I like it but think it is a little busy with the metal part. I am open to opinions.

Here are a few more pics.

No real times yet, the car ran pretty consistent low 9s with the previous owner and it did make 1100rwhp on a dynojet. I had the car at the track last week in Bowling Green and it has a bad exhaust leak so we couldn't get it to build any boost for the front half of the track. It went 140mph on only 18 psi running out the back end of the track on a VERY mild tune which I was happy with. We are currently fixing the leak and also getting the boost controller working and looking to possibly make it to the Mod Motor Nationals Nov 9 at SGMP. Hoping to just get a clean pass on the car with the tune we have in it now which is pretty mild. The car should go low 9's like it is with a decent 60 and I would like to see it make a nice easy clean pass before putting it away for the winter.

Hey Bill, where are you from the Burgh is actually my home town! Yes Craig and I have been good friends for a long time now. I actually offered to sell the car back to him after we got it running but he really has no interest in it anymore.

Here is my 2004 Mach 1. Just got the new rims and tires installed. Not sure I like the way the 245/45ZR17's sit on the 9 inch rims. Might have to go up to a 255 or 265. I still have to lower it as it rides too high, especially in the front. The only other mods I've done have beed a Bassani cat back and JLT RAI on it. Rims are SR500's
