Don’t care either way about either car or what they do/don’t run. Just my unbiased opinion. But we can’t make excuses for one car and not the other. Lower elevation excuse much like the lower da excuse to get advertised time. I think both cars can get what the factory has claimed, however neither have reached their respective claims when in customers hand. The gt500 claims were 650+hp/600tq/200+mph. First muscle car to break 200mph...still waiting.
If im not mistaken more than one has already did it.

You're missing the point. You don't see GT500 fans saying just need more time, more perfect conditions, etc etc. Don't recall a bunch of circle jerking for that magical 200MPH with a bunch of excuses. Might do it stateside, might not. Every Demon fan is just wishing for that perfect storm of conditions to hit a target no one has gotten close...except tuned.
The 720s may just be the greatest car ever made in regards to all around performance. It dominates whether it be at the drag strip or road course. Unless it lines up against a Dodge at the drag strip. And for the non drag racers. Trap speeds do not win races. Never has. Never will.

In case you didn’t know. Physics plays a tiny little part in racing, especially drag racing. Which is why da is so critical, it isn’t simply an excuse. A car that runs 9.65 in -1000 will not run 9.65 in 1000da simply to please butt hurt mustang fan boys.
Last fall very few demons were in owners hands, even fewer were actually racing.
This fall all demons have been produced, some are still on dealer lots. Most are with owners. Probably less than 10% are truly being ran at the track (less than 300). Even so. There are a few that are damn close to getting that 9.65.
I'll need to reach out for your expertise if I ever make it to the strip, or buy a Mustang. Without the science I wouldn't know how either worked, lol.Lol totally triggered

Running a car to 200mph is immensely different then running the 1/4. It went 196, it would go 200mph if anyone cared to give it's just do.
Were any of those demons stock? What about the 720s cars, stock?
