This thread title makes me giggle every time.
Carry on.
Carry on.
9.67 is not 9.65 and it has to be achieved in the same configuration dodge did it in or it means jack shit. Also this fat pig is already obsolete, 720s with just a tune ran better than 9.65.
If this thing can use race fuel, bigs and littles, a trans break, and upgraded factory tune. Than any car with a tune is on the same level and playing field.
Don’t care either way about either car or what they do/don’t run. Just my unbiased opinion. But we can’t make excuses for one car and not the other. Lower elevation excuse much like the lower da excuse to get advertised time. I think both cars can get what the factory has claimed, however neither have reached their respective claims when in customers hand. The gt500 claims were 650+hp/600tq/200+mph. First muscle car to break 200mph...still waiting.196MPH and said it would do 200MPH with more room/lower elevation.
The main reason no one cars, is Ford didn't base their advertising around this, and no one that failed to hit 200MPH, would give the oh so common excuse of "give it time". That's why no one cared.
I’m more interested I seeing a stock one go 140mph.
Don’t know if well ever see that.
Not baun stock if I remember right.
That one was on a tire.
You're missing the point. You don't see GT500 fans saying just need more time, more perfect conditions, etc etc. Don't recall a bunch of circle jerking for that magical 200MPH with a bunch of excuses. Might do it stateside, might not. Every Demon fan is just wishing for that perfect storm of conditions to hit a target no one has gotten close...except tuned.Don’t care either way about either car or what they do/don’t run. Thanks professor science!100’s of passes, -1250 da, perfect track prep = 9.65
Several passes, +600 da, average track day prep = 9.83
Nahhhh bro. Not even close. What a slow pos.
In case you didn’t know. Physics plays a tiny little part in racing, especially drag racing. Which is why da is so critical, it isn’t simply an excuse. A car that runs 9.65 in -1000 will not run 9.65 in 1000da simply to please butt hurt mustang fan boys.
Last fall very few demons were in owners hands, even fewer were actually racing.
This fall all demons have been produced, some are still on dealer lots. Most are with owners. Probably less than 10% are truly being ran at the track (less than 300). Even so. There are a few that are damn close to getting that 9.65.
Thanks professor science!
Someone is triggered, lol.
I'll need to reach out for your expertise if I ever make it to the strip, or buy a Mustang. Without the science I wouldn't know how either worked, lol.Lol totally triggered

We all know you all don't operate on facts. If you did, you all wouldn't jerk each other to a fictional 9.65 ET. Maybe by 2030 someone will click a 9.70 off and you can all get into your pile to celebrate.Facts. You’re clueless.
Facts. You’re clueless.
So which club do I belong to?Ignore him. He's a hater because it came from camp Dodge. Plus once someone matches the factory time, he'll just deny and claim it isn't stock. There's no winning with club bias.

Were any of those demons stock? What about the 720s cars, stock? The 720s may just be the greatest car ever made in regards to all around performance. It dominates whether it be at the drag strip or road course. Unless it lines up against a Dodge at the drag strip. And for the non drag racers. Trap speeds do not win races. Never has. Never will.
