Been an interesting journey with this car. The stock motor let go 2 years ago. I spared no expense and built a new longblock and had a kenne bell but that wasn’t enough. Few friends in my ear and this mayhem began. I posted it in the 13-14 forum but figured I would share here as it moves along. Pics speak for themselves.

I had a 4.0 kB and that stayed on for about 4 months.

Ditched this setup when I broke the 6r80.

She made just shy of 1100 on 18 psi

We are getting close to starting it up. Gotta sort cooling system and vacuum stuff. The Holley efi needs some tweaking too and in 2 weeks it’s getting a 25.5 cage.

Just curious, has the compression changed from original to new build? What head gasket did you end up going with, I have a bud doing the same thing except it keeps puking head gaskets after going with an twins setup. Did you end up opening up the ring gaps a bit more?

Compression is up 10:1. I’m not sure on the head gasket selection but yes the ring gaps are open to accommodate power. I run e85 and change my oil quite often.

I was thinking that where a deer running across the road could be a problem for most ppl.

However with that turbo you will be making deer burgers.

Well done!

Badass! What do you do about the radiator? Do a split design on both sides of the turbo or is this a 1/4 only car?

I have a heat exchanger with dual fans that’s been modified to use as a radiator. It will see limited street duty but will still be street driven occasionally
