Finally my coolant tank cap from canton came. Put that on and wired up the 3.5 bar map sensor for my interceptor gauge. I’m hoping my powder coater can do the cap over the winter for me so it matches the tanks

Very clean looking engine bay. The black components with the SY paint look really good. Looks like SY in the photo. What color wheels? Just curious because your engine bay theme is yellow and black.

I have black 03 cobra rims and it’s zinc yellow !!! Lmao thank you for the compliment. I never wanted yellow but got such a killer deal on the car when i bought it in 2012 i couldn’t say no.

Owned the car over 4yrs and 12k Miles. Literally the first time I’ve ever wiped down the engine bay. Had a few problems crop up after letting the car sit all summer while I was out of town and realized I need to show it some love.

Hahah. It was months. Get sent out for work April-sept every year.

Side note. I used this stuff on my ZX 10R back in the day. After 4 yrs the guy that took it in part trade on the cobra said it looked brand new.

It gives an even slicker feel than a fresh wax job in my opinion.

Yessir put the car back on the ground take the bolts off and lift the car carefully.

it looks like your car still has a/c lines, right?

but i can't tell from the angle of the pic whether or not you left the a/c compressor in the car or if you disconnected it and kept it on the engine.

i also am researching dropping mine out the bottom, but i want to make sure that it is not necessary to have to crack the a/c system

in other words, is there enough clearance for the a/c compressor to swing out of the way while you drop the engine out of the bottom?

thx

Easy to install? Ill be doing this very soon myself.

Yeah super easy I have a 3” kooks xpipe and there’s still room just bring the plate from the rear(towards the rear end) on top of the exhaust and it’s goes on took like 45 minutes and that’s with putting the car on the lift.

Yes we had to disconnect it and leave it on the engine
