All it takes now is for two to three women to claim sexual harassment against any man in power and the Kingdom of Woman get all the news coverage they want. All this publicity is enough to find the man guilty in the publics eye and his life is ruined. He's chastised, demoted and possibly fired from a job due to the negativity that it brings his employer. All before a court hearing. It seems that all accusations against someone is enough to get the media involved and thus a guilty verdict without a trial to prove guilt or innocence.
If a woman doesn't like someone all she needs to do is claim sexual harassment and he's done for.

Is this the new Normal for the Good Ol' USA?

I feel it's not going to be just a woman thing anymore. I believe this will be a political strategy from now on for BOTH sides. If Republicans don't want a certain Democrat in office they will claim that person sexually harassed Jane Doe and the same goes for the other side of the podium. This is going to ruin lives all b/c one side doesn't get their way. Dem's vs Rep's.

The sad part is that we as media viewers have no say it b/c it's what the media wants to happen to increase ratings fueled by the controversy Americans seem to love (I personally despise controversy with a passion).

Really scares me to think of my son growing up in this society, what happens if he hooks up with a girl and then down the road she decides she made a mistake and claims sexual abuse? Gonna have to start signing consent forms before you have sex from now on? People who lie about this kind of stuff and ruin someones life really deserve the harshest sentence possible in jail. I agree it discredits women who have really been assaulted.

Surely you're not be serious with this. You have any idea how many blacks went to prison for false accusations that were recanted years, sometimes decades later?

#Metoo just now hit the mainstream in the last 2yrs but this has been going on behind the scenes for probably a better part of the last century. Only now has it started to effect the rich and powerful.
