What kind of boost are u guys hoping to see with 3.1 upper and 2# lower? I just bought one and got the 2.9 upper with a 2# lower.
A 3.1/2lb combo will be about 17lbs. Boost will vary a bit due to elevation and weather.

Still lower numbers than everyone else but very street-able.

2.8 Upper/Stock Lower, Fore Return Fuel System and 60lb injectors at 18deg timing
605RWHP.

I think some bigger injectors will allow me more timing.

LOL! It is a plastic rapid prototype used for mock up and fitment. We are expecting production unit(s) early next month.

I never noticed there was a plastic prototype. Lol how the hell wasn't the crossover issue figured out then and fixed.

According to the FB live feed they knew from day 1. They knew about it and moved on because “this is for racers who want all out horsepower”. Not exact quote. I have a hard time smashing an obsolete part for all out horsepower.

Hate knocking them since they make great products and still include the Cobras which are getting up there in age.

Maybe it’s a Apple type business model. Create problem sell solution.

I just bought a brand new VMP 2.3 w/GT500 throttle body before they are all gone. I think it will be the best option for my build.

hopefully i'll make 600-625 on 93, and maybe a bit more with Torco added...E85 is not easily accessible in SE Mass

Build list:
VMP 2.3 w/3.0 pulley
GT500 throttle body
EGR delete
SCT BA3000
80lb injectors
DW 300 pumps
PPRV delete
modded FDPM (Black305)
KB fuel pressure disc
Gord's new bigger heat exchanger
stock headers
Maganaflo X w/cats
Magnaflow cat back
tuning by Pete in NH

I want to do return system, but don't have the funds.
I'm told that for the horsepower I'm shooting for I should be ok.
The shop(Cobra Dan) doing the work recommended this setup and just did a car that made 623RWHP

May want to reconsider the EGR delete, I think we need that in the Commiwealth.

1. how did you run your fuel system lines?
2. how did you wire/trigger pumps?
3. where did you get emblem to put over VMP on blower?

Sorry for the late reply. Fuel lines come from tank along OEM routing then feed comes in front right of engine and return come out of the rear of the drivers side to the fuel Pressure Regulator hidden behind the passenger strut tower.

See picture for fuel pump wiring. Only thing to add is second pump is on a boost switch that kicks on at 5psi. This relay setup allows for the pumps to prime when the key is on and engine off.

I cannot remember where I got the emblem.

Thanks for schematic drawing...only have to order a few more parts. I did not realize you still need a relay between FPDM and Fore FC3. I decided to get Fore L3 kit and feed the rear of both rails. Will stage pumps.

Extra relay will prevent the pumps from running full time when the key is on and engine is off.

quote from thread by Malcolm??

"Return style fuel system with OEM fuel pump activation
When switching to a return style fuel system a lot of people just wire the pumps to key on power. This has some major downsides.

· Anytime the key is on the pumps are running and draining your battery. Think about getting a wheel alignment or when flashing on a tune etc.

· Safety issue like when you crash or the car stalls and the ECU would like to turn off the pumps but cannot.

To keep the ECU in control of your pumps have your tuner adjust the tune for a return style fuel system and keep the FPDM (fuel pump driver module) in use. Use pins 3 and 10 to activate the relay(s) that will turn on your fuel pumps.

Pin 10 = BN/PK (normally fuel pump positive) Pin 3 = RD/BK (normally fuel pump negative)

Don’t just use pin 10 positive power to your relay and ground the relay to the chassis. That won’t work. You must use both pins 10 and 3 to trigger your relay.

You dont need that relay between the fpdm and the fore relay.

As stated by Malcolm, use 3/10 to trigger the primary pump. The ground is actually the line that switches and that's why you cant use any other ground.

I also used 10 on the positive side of the second pump and used the Hobbs switch to provide ground to lose the circuit. This served two purposes: the pump can only have power if the pcm is attempting to run the pumps, didnt have a hot wire ru nning up to the Hobbs switch.
