Roush is readying its most powerful Mustang offering to date. Starting Saturday, Sept. 1, customers can pre-order the 2019 Roush Stage 3 Mustang, complete with 710 horsepower and 610 pound-feet of torque.

The RS3 Mustang utilizes a new "Phase 1" TVS R2650 supercharger, which is based on Eaton's R2650 rotating assembly and improved with a new front inlet. Compared to the previous, 2015-introduced car and its R2300 blower, the Mustang can coax an extra 40 horsepower from its 5.0-liter Coyote engine thanks to the improved supercharger. Just as a reminder, a stock Mustang GT has 460 horsepower; the Stage 3 gives the car 250 extra ponies. That's about a Focus ST's worth.

While I would never buy a Roush anything new due to lack of resale and overpricing on MSRP, I've never heard bad about them and at least he makes clean rides.

Car looks great, it would be interesting to see how the power/price compares to the GT500.

So now we know the new GT500 will have to make significantly more, at least 750hp.
What was the highest hp Roush when my 662hp '14 was new?
Not that I really GAF what the rating is, as that 2650/5.0/A10 should be super fast with the right tuning.
And possibly changing that horrible Roush 2650 TVS inlet design.

Roush does not replace stock tuned blown motors. 2 were replaced one was very good friends with a large Roush dealer owner and another knew Jack Roush personally. Besides that you’re out of luck.

Any proof Chevy guy?

not a chevy guy and never have been nor even alluded to it. and even if I was, what does that have to do with their response to the issues. brand is not the issue here, obviously.

proof? yeah, my friend's Roush Raptor that they repeatedly denied any warranty on when he had all the issues he had. brand new and they washed their hands.

Did Roush ever start with a Cobra base like Saleen did with a few?

Those two were the middle stepchild of the Mustang family I thought with Roush being the smaller of the two. Saleen looked better when just comparing the Mustang models, then like I mentioned, the saleen cobras and that s351...

Roush was something different to look at and the only really good part on the car was the side exhaust, other than that I wasn't a big fan.

front end looks like dog shit still ...

No kidding, from the side marker down still looks absolutely terrible.

Looks good. What's the price tag on them? 60-70k?

Easily.[/bcolor]
[bcolor=transparent]My 2013 stickered at almost 62k.

[bcolor=transparent]Not worth it in my opinion. But to each their own.[/bcolor]

Not sure.
I wasn't really big into Mustangs until I bought mine in 2013. My very first Ford and very first Mustang. (I was a Chevy guy. Shhhhhhhhhh,..........lol Might be going back to that side with a 2019 Z06 with the Z07 package that I may order early next year. The dealership that I am talks with, takes 12% off MSRP for ordered Z06 cars.)
