I have a NIB Steeda 13" rear brake conversion kit for sale. This kit fits all S-197 vehicles 2005-2014 Mustang.

The kit includes two aluminum caliper relocating brackets, two braided brake lines and two 13" directionally vaned and directionally slotted rotors for efficient cooling. This kit is a great upgrade for the anemic rear OEM brakes particularly if you're running the 14" front Brembo brakes.

Price: $395.00 shipping INCLUDED. (price updated/changed)

This is the same kit that sells on the Steeda site for $539.95 WITHOUT shipping:

NIB means New In Box. Never installed. Brand new. Price dropped to $395.00 shipping INCLUDED! If you have 14" Brembos on the front of your car you need these brakes so you rear brakes can keep up with your front brakes.

What brand are the rotors? I ask because they don't look like the DBA rotors on Steeda website but i'm very interested in them.

This won't actually help you stop any better, but just provide more capacity to soak up the heat (braking area from pads remain the same).

PS: Shipping is free on $99+ from Steeda.

This was a very early version of the Steeda kit. The rotors came from Steeda with the kit.

You are wrong that this kit will not help you stop better. This kit will ABSOLUTELY help you stop better and faster because you are stepping up the rear braking leverage from a 11.8" diameter rotor to a 13" diameter rotor. If you remember your physics class, the bigger the lever the greater the force. You are correct that is has more capacity to soak up kinetic energy and the braking area of the pad is unchanged and that is the beauty of this kit. You get to keep your pad stock and your emergency brake and there's no need for a new brake line or caliper.

I originally bought this kit to put on my 2007 Shelby GT 500 because the rear brakes were so grossly undersized and the brakes were very unbalanced on track. I decided I did not want to take the rear end apart just to install this kit so I ended up designing my own kit that bolts on without taking the axle apart.

The rotors are 1.5# lighter than the 11.8" OEM rotors or 3# total weight savings for the pair.

I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have.
