Looking to finish a 1300 sq. ft unfinished basement and I need some ideas of what is possible with this area.

Search revealed a few threads but not what I was looking for.

The best thing I decided to do with my basement was build a theater room and it wasn't anything on the scale of what you see online, but it was simple and absolutely perfect for what I needed for the family. It was a open to a bar area in my basement and had a tray ceiling in it with some hidden lights and I built a small riser that had 4 power recliners on it and a big couch on the floor. Built a 152" screen and used spandex for the material and hid the center channel speaker behind it. There was literally 3 days in a row during one winter where we didn't even leave the basement except to go upstairs and get food HAHAHAHAHA!!! Almost every home around here has a basement and tons of people finish them but say they don't really use them, but I will say we used ours almost every weekend at least

I'd likely put in a multimedia room as well. Only problem I would have is containing the cost because it can go overboard in a HURRY.

Frame all exterior walls, run electric, plumbing(looks to be some stub ups for a restroom in back corner) closed cell spray foam insulation if deemed necessary, and frame in beams to receive drywall or wrap to look like real beams.

After that it just depends on what your looking to do with the space due to room sizes. Also drywalling the ceiling vs a popular ceiling system thats becoming more popular is a wooden plank looking ceiling that is made up of the same material the old staple up 12x12 tile is.

Also it looks as if the center of the space is framed in for a staircase.....
That would burn up a good chunk of the center of the room. A rough sketch with basement wall measurements would definitely help....

Your basement is almost bigger than my house(sans garage).

That'd make a nice theater room like mentioned above.

Did you build the house? By the looks of it there is already plumbing in place for a bathroom on the left side of the pic. Technically you would have to put the bedroom where the window is as a form of egress.
