First time out is always a blow to the ego, if you had an ET in mind, haha.

Friend has a 335XI M package, the last two years he's gone once each season because he gets super frustrated. Seems to ignore the whole practice aspect. Car should be mid 12's, but can't best a 13.5. Just puts the pedal down and spins. Buddy has a 335i (these two are friends) but he has a lot more experience, so seeing someone making same power but a second faster gets to him in a bad way. Just takes time.

Launching a blower car ups the difficulty factor, add street tires, and you better learn to peddle. On Eagle F1 all seasons, I had to peddle my ass off. The NT05R should be a good tire under 600rwhp. Didn't see any mods listed, so assuming stock.

You'll need to play with pressure, but 17-20psi tends to be the good range.

As for ET, if you can hook, your car is usually a 13.2ish ET up here. Love that 8500DA. Cooling goes a long way if you don't have any upgrades.

I'll hit you up when I plan on going down. Be down to meetup, I'm not overly social, lol.
Yeah it's mostly stock. Just a resonator delete and a dyno tune. Just attached the dyno results. I'd be down to meet up. I hardly spoke to anyone when I was there. Other than to a few people who asked me some questions. Lol. I didn't realize altitude had as much of an impact on forced induction cars. I'll keep that in mind next time I feel slow. Haha :)

I'm the same way. I go with a buddy, other than that never have much of a need to socialize. I see some who wander all over wanting to make friends, lol. Speaking of that, beware some older guy (was in a suburban in the pits) who will try to sell you his bs intercooler system. He did it to me, going on about lowering my temps in the heat, explained I already plan on buying a system. He said his is better (as he described it, it's terrible), I asked price and he told me they run $6k. I laughed in his face at that point. Saw him do the same pitch to a Hellcat.

Altitude is a bitch. We lost about half a second vs a full second for NA cars. Because of this, you should convince the wife to pulley the car, to get it back up to "stock" power, lol.

Haha. Sounds like that guy has some good snake oil coolers lol :). I was about to order a pulley, idler and plugs but I just can't afford it this month now. A cool guy on here offered me a deal on some stuff but I'm really thinking I want like-new quality parts. But, Too many expensive hobbies and only 1 paycheck. I'll have to wait to make a decision on it when I get back from Amsterdam at the end of this month.

He took offense to m laughing at him, he was something else.

Cars are the worst hobby on the paycheck. Between that and guns, don't know how I'm not always broke, lol.

I'll be out there with @AustinJ427 and a buddy of mine the last weekend in July.

Sounds like you guys have been out with NASA RM before...why aren't you hanging out with us knuckle draggers in the Thunder group?

Were you guys at La Junta or PPIR?

Hopefully I can get the car ready for HPR. I had some issues at PPIR... hopefully they aren't as serious as they sound.

Because I look a lot faster than I am.

Hang out and drink beer with us. We usually cook out on Friday night. I'm sure we can find a trailer for you guys to rack out in if you don't have a place to stay.

Checking in on this post as there doesn't seem to be much activity locally.
I'm in Parker as well, Stonegate specifically and just picked up a 17 Grabber Blue GT350.
Maybe I'll see you fellas around some time.

Not sure I'll make it.....still having issues with the car....and I don't have any rain tires either.

If I do make it, I'll be in the black Steeda #28. Regardless, stop by and BS with the CMC/AI crew.

I made it 1.5 laps before my driver front tire failed. Still not exactly sure what happened. Went from 30psi to 8psi in the matter of a second.

Packed up and left shortly after as I didnt think to bring an extra set of wheels/tires.

That sucks...if it makes you feel any better, I stayed home and did school work!

Apparently the track was really fast...I didn't think I'd ever see a 2:03.x in a 260hp shitbox CMC. Dustin and Flyin Brian can wheel those Camaros.

Are you planning on a return trip to HPR in Sept?

Probably not. My divorce is finalized at the end of this month then I'll find out about what my parenting time will be like, so I'm not planning anything else for the end of the year at this point.
