The owner is a "youtuber". He broke the motor a few weeks back. Started a gofundme page to help with the cost to replace the motor.

FF to a few days ago. Picks up the car on video and its clearly surging at idle running like poop. And a day or two later, this happens. #RIPdealer

LOL, who sends someone money for that?

People are dumb.
Several hundred idiots did. There was big drama over that a few weeks ago. But I believe he raised like $3k from it and dodge covered most of the rest. He windowed the block somehow. Barth tuned for like 20k miles. Honestly wouldn't be the first Barth tuned mopar to go up in smoke.

I mean that sucks for sure.

Owner acts like a little girl being all historical on the phone and then crying later.

That said if everyone here on SVTP could hit up MY GoFundMe page and donate to my new motor build that would be awesome!

Weird thing I saw too was the car has rearend damage when its at the yard. Maybe that was from being pushed around at the yard by an end loader or other heavy machinery? Seems like even in the case of this car being like 60% burned, why would a yard damage the rest of the good parts of the car? That rear bumper and taillights would be salvageable no??

If it was his only way to get around and work I would help. I do a lot of odd things though.

He has a Focus ST, brand new Ram and 09 GT500 Vert as well as the HC... Plus I believe aside from being a "youtuber", he works a nice paying IT job. Lives in a very nice house too.

Drop $65k on Hellcat....check

Put warranty-voiding tune in Hellcat...check

Drive out-of-warranty Hellcat for 20k miles...check

Blow up Hellcat...check

Set up a GoFundMe page to help fund the new motor....WTF?!?!?!?!?!
Now you're just being rational.

Yes, I said rational, not irrational.

I think you are spot, rear damage from being pushed by end loader and rear parts could maybe have been salvageable. However most will look at that car as 100% scrap and who cares it they damage it.

Plus unless I misunderstood how thing went down the dealership that installed the new motor clearly didn't tighten a fitting or left wires loose and this caused the fire. On top of that this is why you have insurance.

He apparently has other ways of transportation.

I don't know him, nor have I watched the video.

If anyone should have a Go-Fund me it should be me....

Windowed the engine on a 911 3.2 1,500 miles into owning it and then got Satan’s Cobra.

Thats what is looks like on the surface. In the last video he deleted, the car was at the dealer when get got it. He remote started it and it was loping bad like it had a big cam (doesnt have a cam). He even noted at the end of that video that the car probably needed to relearn the idle or needed to be retuned by Barth. They took it home on a uhaul trailer and he was going to drive it that night. Two days later on a back road, it was burning down. Maybe the fuel line on the rail was not pushed on all the way and popped off? Or just starting leaking onto the top of the motor?
