First, it's not a "brand new never used" blower. As soon as it was prepped it became used and that's how it should've been represented in the ad. If it was opened for inspection that's one thing but prepping? I don't think so.

Second, where was the blower stored for 10 months? From the look of those fittings someplace very damp and, I would guess, a high traffic area where it picked up at least some of its damage.

Third, the packaging was horrendous. Carriers aren't exactly delicate with our packages so the blower should've been repacked in the hardened box it came in from KB. Again, this goes back to the "brand new never used" promise from the seller.

The seller needs to make this right. Saying "I would've worked with the buyer but he started a PP claim" is a cop out. I would've contacted PP as well since the seller CLEARLY can't be trusted.

Exactly my point man what is someone suppose to do when something like this happens, I feel like I followed the book as best as I could

Zip lock bags? Bubble wrap and styrofoam peanuts would have saved both of you a lot of grief.

I disagree with the 1st point. If you buy a blower and install some fittings on it and its never bolted to a car or run. Its not used. Zero hours of run time is exactly that. Its a new blower. Packaging was shitty and something should be compensated for the damage. He did advertise a blower for sale in a specific condition. If Kenne Bell or any other retailer had an item delivered in that condition they would replace it or compensate you for the condition. So the question is, what is cosmetic damage worth. For me its a big thing. Especially with the level of car we all own and love. THIS is what insurance is for. Its cheap. Get it next time.

Or something inside the box was bouncing around, but those marks look like it was dragged across a driveway

Exact same thing me and others thought after seeing pictures of the damage. Something seems fishy.

Wtf is fishy other than your ****ing packing skills like I have stated before I opened the damm package in front of the damm Fed ex guy and was noted in the damm delivery receipt, I’m so tired of your ass, the fed ex guy told me to refuse the package and send it back to you but at that point I would’ve been out the money and the so called blower kit.....

Cmon let’s be real. WTH would damage a pristine blower hoping to get their money back on a damage claim. NO ONE. The item was not packaged correctly and became damaged due to handling. It’s either on fed ex or the seller unless extra insurance was offered but denied. Blowers are extremely heavy and need to be packaged accordingly. High density foam is a must.

All these pics were taken of the blower in the box at delivery look at the back ground the box is there, I’m done explaining myself to you? You didn’t **cking insure the package? You don’t think I’ve made calls to fed ex and asked all this, I got PayPal all the info they requested I just want my damm money back, I’ll package this way better than you did and you can do what you want with it
