Car is a 04 turbo cobra e85, sullivan intake, precision 7675, car put down 740rwhp 815rwtq on old set up. I have upgraded turbo and intake and thought why not go auto at the same time. I will update as it goes
Parts list
2013 f 150 6r80
2013 flex plate and backing plate
2013 mustang gt ford racing 1 piece driveshaft
2013 flywheel bolts and torque converter nuts
B&m shifter for auto car of our years
Power by the hour shift cable adapter and cooler line fittings
01 auto shift cable
USSHift ( Baumann ) Quick 6 controler
Many misalliances bolts

Here you can see physical difference between the two. I skipped showing disassembly cause we have all seen that a million times.

Thats all for today. Here are a few things i learned. Get new bell housing bolts. You need longer ones for the auto tranny. I have my k member dropped about 1/2 inch. Im not sure it will fit nice with out being lowered. Flex plate bolts are shorter and need to have correct ones.
My controller has not showed up so i basically need to plumb up my cooler and wait. If you have any questions feel free to ask. This is my first build thread so it might be a little rough .

Awesome. Only way to go when turbo.

I don’t think the 10spd will really help that much once you get up into the power range you’re at. Heck a TH400 would probably run as fast if not faster than the six speed but your drive ability should be great!

I really hesitated going auto cause i couldnt trust the 4r70 and i really wanted overdrive. I am currently rounding up parts for my brothers mach1 coyote tt 6r80 swap so that turned me towards the 6 speed. Hope the controller works as advertised. I want to be able to cruse and tear up the strip. As we have quite the compitition between us boys in the family but thats a diffrent tread.

Update. Got car filled with tranny fluid and moved under its own power. Still waiting on controller. Tranny is in limp mode so you have 3rd gear and reverse with full line pressure so in barks the tires going in gear. I will be taking car home from my shop and do the wiring and controller there. Need the room to work on customer cars and dont like people walking around it. Plus cause why not we looking at a nasty snow storm this weekend. Didnt take any more pics yet but will when i do the wiring. I will also try and take a first drive video

Awesome! Best of Both worlds. Iconic Mustang that will never go out of style unlike mine lol and a tranny that withstands some serious abuse! I beat the balls off that tranny and it has never even skipped a beat! Gonna be an awesome ride!

Update .....
Here is the hole I ran trans harness threw

next ran the wiring threw and moved it up to the controller

I will make everything more secure once I verify that everything works as it should

Mounted controller here. Not sure if I will move it or not as I like to see temp and other Pids.
Once again it is not complete as I like to make sure things work before I tidy them up.
Started the car and moved threw gears. Set up my tps settings and am now waiting for the snow drift behind the car to disappear before I drive. Ill list which wires I tapped into for the controller when I get my sheet at home. All in all the install and set up was super easy, very nice product.

I am running stock transmission for now just to see what it can handle. ( I own a shop so I can get these transmissions super cheap and most the time I can get them to replace with no questions asked).. If I keep burning them up ill build one.

Cost of transmission swap so far. ( keep in mind I get discounted parts of stock ford stuff )
Transmission... 600
cross member... 250
flex plate and hardware... 63
Controller..... a sweet 1270 with shipping
driveshaft .... 570
shifter....280
Cable...35
Cooler... 35
AN fittings and hose... 50
Total $3153
Sold old transmission swap for cool $2200
$953 out of pocket
Super excited to drive this thing.
