Anyone have experience launching with 800hp on the street? Car cuts 1.3s at the track on a Pro tire, put a slick on and left the shocks set from the track at 3/7 with no luck. Using Ford Racing 1" lowering springs with stock bump stops. Have all the goodies in back just wondering if a different spring would help.
Next attempt will be to try 0/6 and see what happens?

That is the plan. Hopefully the slicks will give better traction on the street. It is a tvs car with the normal stuff lIke lca, uca, anti roll etc.

Put sand bag in the trunk and leave about half throttle before going to floor.
That is what we ended up doing.
Ran a couple of "back half track" events and had a blast. The car was surprisingly competitive against grudge cars but it could still be quicker. Should be able to get it to hook without the weight but it will take time.

I start in 2nd gear on the street. OTOH nothing hooks very well on the street. It all depends on the surface of asphalt. Concrete is much better.
