+65k, verify what's covered by their insurance as well. There are a lot of fly by night idiots in the car shipping business. Make sure it's a company that you can verify reviews on as well. Good luck in your search!

And just make sure the company does NOT sublet out the work. Or you could be waiting weeks for your car.

Reliable Carriers. You get what you pay for.
I've used them 4 times, no problems or dented cars. A girl I know used a cheaper carrier, car had dents from the large truck driver crawling through the window due to no hydraulic lift. They drove the car in, crawled out window. True story.

Do not use direct express. They are a broker and you will have to wait forever for a carrier to hit your bid. Also, the price is bullshit since you have to bribe them with a "tip" to get any carriers to even look at your bid.

Not me. Had a horrible experience with reliable. Never again!

Pretty much every company is assholes from what I hear. This guy outlines all the reasons:

Basically you can get it done flawlessly if you're dropping serious coin, but even low level exotic owners want to save some money and bargain shop.

Heard only bad things with reliable. Intercity lines treats your car like gold. My car got subbed out but got lucky and went from Cali to mass in a week and the guy was super careful with it.

It all depends on the driver. I had a trucker pick my car up in Seattle and bring it to me on the GA/SC border. He was super nice took care of the cars and updated me every chance he could.

If you get a driver that does not care about other peoples stuff then you're going to have a bad day. If you get a driver that takes pride in his work and respects others than you have nothing to worry about.

I’m in this same boat. I’m in the suburbs of St Louis and moving to Fort Worth in 3 weeks. I haven’t called for a quote yet but I’m expecting from what I’m reading like 2 grand for that. OP can you just drive it? Would save you lots of money
