If you subscribe to the magazine you can see my commentary on the one R (1995) I wrote about, lol.

Morgan,
I have had a subscription to SCM for well over 10 years. I received the April 2017 issue (with coverage from Arizona and the LW 1963 Jaguar on the cover) and still nothing.:)

I'd like to buy a 1994 Cobra, a 1995 Cobra R, or a 1995 Cobra.

I had a 1994 Cobra that I bought new. Here with the current Cobra R:

I'd like to buy a low mileage car with no issues.
Thanks

I was really hoping my Dads Cheetah would've had a bigger write up but its still neat it made the magazine.

I know..The auction coverage ended up going into SCM's other magazine called American Car Collector. My editor told me there was way too much AZ stuff and there was no room for little old Mecum Kissimmee..Oh well..

Been away from the Cobra world for several years - how are the R prices? I've had 2 2000 R's, looking for a clean 95R. Just curious what they are going for now a days. Thanks

prices are creeping up. the most recent auction sale for a 95R was kissimmee this year for 35k on a 1900 mile car.

I didn't see the 95R in Kissimmee, FL yet, but I haven't watched all of the DVR'd shows on cable. That includes 18 hours from Barrett-Jackson as well as the Mecum shows (6 hours?).

The DVR can compress 18 hours into 3 hours. I am not interested in old pre-1964 cars (those Shoe-box Chevy's 1955-1957 cars are stupid). :D

Nonetheless, I feel the market is soft on driver-cars from 1965-2000. The perfect cars with very low miles are still getting new good bids.

I can see myself as a buyer in 2017 at these prices. I think more guys may see this opportunity.

Looking to purchase set of original front and rear brake pads and original rotors for a 2000 Cobra R
Also wondering if there were any date coded parts on the brake system?
Would like to keep everything original and up to spec. for judging,.
Thank you in advance

Looking for lower mileage 2000 R model, all original or modified (with stock hardware available). Original documentation a plus. I am not looking for wrapper car, just something nice.

I am a cash buyer. Please let me know if you have one for sale or maybe have been thinking about selling one. Prefer email [email protected] or post/PM here. Thanks.

I just saw one at my local dealership this morning. I think it is #20 or #22.

Happy hunting Shawn. The 00R is an amazing machine. I see them periodically on eBay and Hemmings.

Looks like a great example, but the dealer knows nothing about this car. Their specs are humorous.
