Just wondering. I am looking to buy my daughter a car to use for college. Around here because the economy is so depressed, dealers are not marking down their vehicles or giving discounts. I was wondering if anyone has an X-plan code and/or pin I could have to negotiate for a new car? You can pm me if you want. Also is X-plan the cheapest or is A plan cheaper? Thanks
Michael

A plan and D plan are slighty better than the X plan, but not by much, and they’re much harder to get if you’re not a Ford employee.

I bet @13COBRA can work a deal with you.

I can do that. I always get plenty of X Plan codes for the year as a Ford employee and I like to use them as much as I can. PM me and I will send you the info that I need to give you the code you need at the dealership.

A Plan is a better deal but you have to be a member of the employees family or spouses family.

OP, A Plan is considerably cheaper as it's well under invoice on every vehicle. X Plan is typically $100 or so above invoice.

I can cut you a deal better than X Plan, but it would have to be on a vehicle I have or order.

What dealership do you work at?

You can negotiate a better deal than x-plan. I had x-plan and my final price was much below that.

partially depends upon how outrageous the dealer fees are.

also just for reference if you join the mustang club of america for $50 you get an xplan pin in a couple of minutes. If you're a ford shareholder you may get one as well (have to have a certain number of shares for a certain minimum time period...too lazy to look it up)

I may have to reach out to you once I’m ready to go truck shopping

Another option for you is to look at adds from the big city papers. Going to a place like leesburg or Tyson’s in Va. or another town that is not as economically depressed will get you some pretty good deals on leftover 2017s. Just do your research first and check with @13COBRA to be sure the deal is as good as they say.
