It has been a pretty wild ride since I became a sales representative for Signature Wheels. Wanted to give a Congratulations to member @Dtmaso for ordering his second set of Signature Wheels for his GT350R. After seeing some photos of the SV501 mounted he decided to order a set for the R. Looking forward to seeing him tear it up on these at our Private Track day at Buttonwillow Raceway in April 2018.

I also received some photos from my customer, and now friend Clint over at The Snake Pit Speed Shop. This is the first and only set of 20" GT350R spec SV501 that we have built. Needless to say I am excited to see rubber mounted.

This customer wanted to eliminate the factory poke of the rear wheels in the GT350R fitment. We did a custom offset based on his desires and so far the results look promising. The ease of customization is one of the beauties of dealing with a fully forged and CNC cut wheels.

Let me know what you think.

Oh and I had to share the Signature Wheel SV104 center locks we built for our good friend Jimmy and his Porsche GT3... Where is @Bossing

My own car is sitting in the garage awaiting the installation of my @MGW shifter. More on that as soon as I find the time

I thought the SV-501 had a more concave face similar to the old Super Snake Alcoa wheels.

Concavity will be greater in the rear due to the front brakes on the GT350. With this being a track focused wheel there is a little less concavity up front to allow for better caliper clearance on the various big brake kits across platforms these days

Wanted to share some info with you guys tracking your cars. One of my good buddies was running a set of replica wheels on his GT350 with poor caliper clearance. Tire debris from the sport cup 2’s would get caught between the caliper and wheel with this as a result.

Definitely recommend you guys reevaluate your wheel selections on these cars. I won’t name the wheel, but many others have experienced the same. Cheaper isn’t always better guys. Spend a little more the first time to be sure you get a proper set of wheels that are safe. I went down this road already myself. Hit me up to start the new year off with a legit set of wheels for your car.

Happy New Years!

MGW is on and again, no complaints. Definitely a good modification for this platform. The stock shifter feels sloppy after you get used to the directness of the MGW and get it broken in. In comparison, there is no comparison.

Also got some new swag in from by buddy Rick over at TMO, and my buddy Clint at The Snake Pit Speed Shop in Ohio.

Lastly, here are a couple photos of the first completed Signature Wheel SV502. Enjoy and let me know what you think compared to the SV501. I am of the impression that I wouldn't kick either of them out of bed in the morning. I am going back and forth on which I will order as a track wheel for this year. Curious to hear your thoughts. Will likely keep the carbon fiber wheels in mint condition as these only weigh about 3 lbs more and cost way less to replace.

SV501 looks better. BTW, what does "SV" stand for?

The SV doesn't have a settled upon moniker yet. We go back and forth on what it should officially stand for. lol. I am open to your suggestions.

Both look great! I like the 501's more.

Here is a side by side of the wheels photoshopped on the car for a better visual. I still cant decide which I will use.

Did you need to install TPMS sensors in your new rims?
You don't have to, but I would recommend it if you want your tire pressure readouts to work on the dash. I did not dismount the tires from the carbon fiber OEM wheels, so I just bought an extra set.

Finally completed hanging my window sticker from the R. It took me 6 months to make it happen, but it puts a smile on my face every time I see it. For those contemplating it, make the trip to Ikea and spend the $12.
