I have a GT500 tb and if I didn't look under the hood, I'd assume it was the stock one. Yes it's that good.

The Gt500 tb is amazing. Its the best tb I've owned and performs like stock. I recommend people skip the other sbtb setup and go gt500 purely for the driveability.

Fyi, I slotted my tps holes and it still didn't help on the billetflow.

The mods I hated most were jlt cold air and oil separator. I love the jlt ram air.

I had no issues with my Accufab idled and ran perfect from day one. I just sold it and went GT500. Looks like i will not be disappointed.

The accufab actually performed flawlessly as far as idle and driveability was concerned. It just sucked that the cruise control location was wrong so the car would really go into boost when you first engaged the cruise.

Did Doug call you stupid because his throttlebody didn't work? He did to me when I emailed him about mine not idling right. I removed all the billetflow stuff off my car and will never recommend them.

They can't build a throttlebody and their customer service sucks.

Right off the website. "
We are the ONLY manufacturer to use proper cam geometry on an oval throttle body for proper pedal height and feel. We are the ONLY manufacturer to use proper cruise control button location for trouble free cruise control use. There is no need to worry about blade screws coming loose and going through your supercharger and destroying it as we crimp the retention screws just like OEM"

what version did you have? Doug made TWO versions. doug was a little off yes. I do agree with you. But saying they cant build a throttle body is just wild. If you hold the billetflow throttle body next to an accufab, it makes the accufab look like a toy. Its obvious. even joe at mustang magic, who was in love with accufab and sold it to all the cobra guys when these cars first came out, swithced over to billetflow.

so your accufab, you never experienced the shorter throttle feel? or the lower throttle pedal? If not, that is odd.

The second billetflow throttle body had a return spring just like the stock throttle body. Doug beefed it up. It destroyed the accufab return spring. The throttle cam on the billetflow, was designed as close as possible to the stock cam. The stock throttle body, as sstated above, is the best. You can't beat it. You cant beat fords research and development. There too big. Billetflows throttle cam solved the short throttle feel and put the throttle height back to where it belongs. The dynamics of the throttle cam was exactly like the ford stocker. The throttle cable didnt "jump" off like the accufab. A engine builder on long island figured out why accufab users had the short throttle feel. He showed me on a 03 cobra. That cam design was and is horrible.

There was even a member on here who sold a kit to fix these issues for the accufab. It took a SVTP cobra member to cure the accufab issues. Thats sad. I gave my accufab throttle body to juiced46 with the SVTP accufab kit. Not making this up lol.

High idle issue, my billetflow had high idle out of the box. all we did was adjust the idle screw and it idled like a charm.

I am not sponsored by billetflow, or on dougs nuts. He actually got mad at me and cursed me out. But I dont care. I dont have to like the guy. The billetflow 2.0 is just superior to accufab. Look at the design and what was entailed to design the new throttle cam and return spring. The position of the throttle cam on the billetflow. says it right on the website.

All your ranting about the throttle cam has nothing to do with the fact that the blade didn't fit well enough to idle. The only way to get the car to idle was to have the screw adjusted in so far that the blade would stick. I added extra springs, tried to tighten the billetflow spring etc but it just wouldn't help it.

I did do the "fix" to my Accufab that you listed, and the Accufab with the throttle cam moved was 200% better than the Billetflow. With the Accufab the cruise control worked, pedal felt fine, and more importantly it idled well.

I'm sure there are some working Billetflows out there but they're not all perfect and they certainly aren't worth the crazy amounts of money people were paying for them a few years back. Thankfully theres a much better throttlebody on the Market that performs perfectly and its the GT500 from VMP.

I have a little stumble when when i come to a stop, rpms drop to like 5-600rpm and shoot back up to normal 750-800. Is this one of the symptoms you guys are referring to in drive ability?

Biggest regret is after my stock engine went south, I spent $3500 on a wrecked 04 Mach for the engine. Bought a bunch of suspension stuff for another 3 or so thousand, made a little back off parting the Mach. Should've bought a wrecked f150, a control pack, coyote swap parts and a set of lowering springs. Would've had the same amount invested, been the same ride height, rode nicer and had more power
