  • Hey everyone,

I have had this crystal white with black interior cobra for about 10 years now and feel it's time to move on. The car just turned over 100K but the body is in pretty nice shape considering it's age. It does have a few scratches and rock dings here and there, but does clean up well. The car has always been stored during the winter months. The motor has less than 20K and the blower less than 10K since being rebuilt. The car does have some issues that need addressed and I will list them to the best of my knowledge.

    The bad:

Replaced the clutch with a Ram 26 spline about 15,000 miles ago and has had a vibration in the clutch pedal ever since. I don't think it's ever gotten worse, but the throwout bearing has started to growl since clutch replacement.

Supercharger has started leaking oil into the compressor side and it's making it's way into the engine causing it to smoke...... Imagine it's just a seal, the shaft has no play and it builds 15 lbs of boost no problems.

Rear has a growl to it and sounds like axle bearings. I have new alloy axles from Summit that I have never installed that will go with the car. I cannot remember if I have the axle bearings or how many spline they are. It has stock axles in it now with stock carrier with 373 FMS gears.

Cervinis 3" cowl hood needs painted to match car. I have it plastidipped black at the moment to see how it would look.

Suspension could use some new bushings all around, it has 100K on it lol.

The car will need the tune finished or a new tune once the other issues are addressed.

    The good:

Built Teksid motor with MMR Manley -6 cc .020" over dished pistons and H-beam rods with ARP 200 bolts, balanced cobra crank, 01 cobra C heads with GT super car cams (new Ford cam to cam and timing chains), 03 mach lower with stock B head cobra upper via B to C intake adapter with single blade TB

Vortech V1 T-trim pullied for 15-17lbs of boost, Tial bypass valve, custom intake pipe with bungs welded for N20 shark nozzle, IAT temp sensor, and two meth nozzles.

NX Express Proton Plus wet kit with heater, purge, and dynotune? digital window switch. Kit has had around eight 10lb bottles ran through it over the last few years.

Snow Performance methanol kit with dual nozzles and upgraded larger tank.

Full fuel system with dual pumps -8 feed from tank and -6 return, Aeromotive FPR, siemens 60lb injectors, custom fuel rails (cannot remember brand).

SCT BA2400 MAF in draw through configuration.

Built T45 from T45 Source with 26 spline input and all the upgrades.

Newer white saleen wheels with newer tires.

Cervinis 3" cowl hood and Kaenen S281 wing (both need paint).

BBK H-pipe with Flowmasters and full tailpipes.

Autometer sport comp fuel pressure and boost/vac. gauges and pressure gauge on bottle in trunk.

N2MB two step and adjustable shift light on gauge pod.

    Newer brake rotors and pads.

Not sure what else I can mention, but lots of good quality parts on the car. I never had the car on the dyno on the current set-up, but it did put down 526 without nitrous on stock cams, -17cc pistons and old B heads. On that combo it hit 126MPH in the 1/4 on a 50 shot full weight vert. I will try to post some pics today. I would like to get around $6000 for the car as it is. If I can't I will look into parting it out. Car is located in Browning, IL zip 62624. Text if interested 309-252-1925

Yep, it's actually a pretty clean for being a Midwest car. I always garage it during the winter and avoided rain as much as possible over the years. I may just keep it and address the issues at this point. Nobody wants these cars anymore, especially convertibles lol.
