I'm thinking about selling my 1995 R-Model memorabilia, toys, R/C cars, shirts, hats, magazines etc.

I have come across some parts that I want for my Super Snake, I have plenty of Shelby stuff I could sell, but those parts fit my car so I have decided to part with the items for a car that I no longer own.

As most of you know, I put together a very large collection of Cobra R stuff for my R's when I owned them, the 1993 stuff went with the 93R, but I have held on to the 1995 and 2000 stuff.

The list is extensive but I will throw out some of the items that I can remember off hand. First of all is a very large magazine collection specific to the 95R, this would be 50-60 unique magazine articles from all of the main stream titles, Auto Week - Road & Track and everything in between including all of the Mustang titles, MCA Mustang Times, Hot Rod, Car Craft, etc. <<When I say all of the main stream titles, the list gets pretty long and goes well beyond what most enthusiasts/collectors would envision as a magazine collection for a specific car. This magazine collection starts in 1994 with the Red 351W Prototype and runs through 1998 or so when the 1995 was being taken over by news of a 385HP R-Model coming soon. The way I was able to amass this magazine collection was to buy (on eBay) every year - 12 month sets of magazines from 1994-1998 from all of the magazine titles available and then look through each page of each of those magazines and keep anything related to the 1995 Cobra R or the Red Prototype. There are also some rare title magazines that featured the 1995 Cobra R, I have some of those also. <<Needless to say, the collection is much more extensive than most I have seen or heard about. Most all of the magazine articles are either road tests or the racing side, very few are owner car features. The magazines are also complete, not chopped up for their articles.

The next items are the 1995 Cobra R related R/C cars, Models and Toys. Most of that is still in plastic wrappers and the ones that have been opened are new, just looked at. The Tamiya R/C's include the White 95R (I think I have 2 of those) and the Stars and Stripes 95R with a spare Tamiya body kit for that car. I don't remember what brand the model kits are, but they are new also. The toys are the White, Yellow, Blue and Burgundy 1995 Cobra R's that were given away at gas stations and were also available at Walmart. <<Related to those cars I also have some multicar sets that include to Cobra R and Corvettes of that era. I think I have a couple of other R/C's that are 1995 Cobra R that are Blue cars. Remember, White was kind of plain, so for selling purposes, some advertisement/toys used the 1995 Cobra R, but it was not always White (think of the BFG Poster).

I have the BFG track side banner and poster. 95 R press kit.

I have many shirts and hats related to the 1995 Cobra R, some SVT Ford, some just 1995 Cobra R related, I think they are all XL, possible 2XL.

I have an original 1995 Cobra R 351W serpentine belt with all F5Z ink stamping still clean and clear, I took that belt off of my #108 at approx. 500 original miles when I sized a Motorcraft replacement, I did not want to loose that "one-time" ink stamp on the unique 95R oem belt. I have the oem radiator cap and degas cap (both NOS) with the riveted plates on the top (crossed flags and degas warning), not the later sticker as used on the 2000 Cobra R.

I have not even gotten into the posters, they are in an area that is hard to get to and they are many.

Anyway, I am just throwing this out there to see what interest there is, I would like to sell as much in bulk as possible but it is does not sell, I will go a different direction to get the parts for my Super Snake.

Thanks, Robert

I'd be interested in the 95R specific stuff. Pm me what you would want for the entire lot. I have some of what you are selling now, but depending on price I may get duplicates. I'll pm you as well.

Robert, you know me, I'm a sucker and a buyer for anything/everything 00R to include R hats. XL shirts are too big for me though.

I have amassed a bit of a memorabilia collection as well over the last year, but if you have something I don't, I'll be buying...

Thank you for the replies guys, I will be sorting through the PM's first to last and getting back with each of you. I currently have an "Algebra 2 crisis" with my 11th grade daughter that we are trying to work through tonight.

If you find anything 00r related I may be interested. I don't need a 95 convertible/hardtop to sit in my garage for another 1.5 years though. I hope all is well... Your old 00r just hit the 4,000 mile mark. Still bone stock other than the widened rear wheels and Bassani cat-back.

Tim - When I was getting out the 95R stuff, I saw a couple of rare 00R toys and R/C's.....................

We were on a family vacation/reunion in West Virginia about 15 years ago and we "went into town" to get some warmer cloths. There was a small store, maybe Costco's and when I walked down the toy isle I saw these two 2000 Cobra R toys, I had not seen them before that time, and I have never seen them since. I keep the batteries out of them, but they do light up and rev.....

018.jpg

This 2000 Cobra R R/C is really unique..............4X4 Yee-Ha!! I have never seen another one of them either.

016.jpg

The bigger R/C, the Red one, that car came in a Yellow and Green also, I have those too and another Red one NIB.

I guess these are little boys toys for big boys?!?!?

It's not too late and no deals have been made, but I have had at least one person who is interested in the entire lot of stuff, but no prices have been discussed and right now I am trying to post pictures so values can be calculated.

I am looking for those two caps right now, I wrapped them in paper towels to keep them from getting scratched, I put them in a zip-loc, I just can't find the zip-loc right now.

Here is the BFG banner and poster. The poster was mounted in a cheap frame and that is where it has been since new, for ease of shipping the frame does not go with the poster. The banner is so large, it was hard to get a good single picture of it......

Shawn was the first to contact me via PM, he is interested in all 95R items that I have, so I am currently putting together a package deal, if that does not work out, I will reply to others about specific items. I will also add some other pictures of what I have.

I haven't gotten to the magazines yet.

Pm sent on the hats.

PM replied.

They are 95R, so I will first have to let Shawn have the option once I get out the 95R apparel. The hats were shown because they happened to be in the closet with the R/C's and toys, and it was kind of cool showing the Hacker Express R/C with the matching hat from that racing team.

Maybe Shawn won't need the rad. caps. I have an auto parts store cap on my "R". Please check with him. Thanks.
