Seems there's been a rash of thefts in the Myrtle Beach area at dealerships in the recent weeks. Keep an eye on your car and those of your fellow Mustang Week attendees:

Trailer hitches off trucks have also been stolen a lot lately in myrtle beach area. If you tow you're car here remember to take you're hitch off after.

We had a stint of that up here as well. Wheels/tires and tailgates are always the first things to get jacked.

The new trucks' tailgates lock with the remote so it's not a big deal, but before when you had to manually do it, I'd have a few stolen a year.

When I was in college it was dangerous to go to Lowes. Thieves would steal tailgates and full-size spares like crazy.
