These hoods look amazing! Awesome to see that they actually work too, extracting heat.

Because the latch is a cheaper and simpler to replace in case anything happend during modification.

A simpler double cut file works, and or just drill out the rivets and make the whole bigger with a dermal. Cost less than a dollar for 4 rivets.

But you should radius that cut you made so it doesn't crack later down the road and you loose your whole latch

So I still have not messed with my hood yet. What's needed to get the latch to work? Just sand down the fiberglass hole for the latch to fit in?

For those using the aerocatch latches did you remove the OEM hood latch and only use the aerocatch setup?

Thanks!
Cutting the holes was the easiest, just used a dremel with a cutting wheel then a sanding wheel. It did take a little to get the pins to come up straight because the latches don't mount flat due to the design of the hood. So the pins need to be angled so go in without hitting anything. Adjust, tighten then repeat about 20 times then your set.
Id do it again tomorrow for the security and the look of these pins

I'm working on getting my aerocatch pins installed this weekend, would you mind posting a picture with the hood up so I can see the pin location?

Edit: Never mind I'm dumb they go right where the old rubber stops went
