Adjustable Suspension Questions

So, I'm still evaluating the sensations with my GT500. I took it out yesterday and payed close attention to the body motions and sensations. That "sloppy" feel I've been feeling? I think it might actually be me and the seat! I still think I should probably switch to some constant rate springs, but some better seats might be a transformation. I should've bought those OEM Recaros from @LEXiiON when I had the chance!

Other than Recaro, what are some high quality, lightweight aftermarket sport seats out there?

Where do you have the watts link pivot set? There are multiple holes for the arms to attach. The higher you go on center pivot point the more oversteer it will produce and lower understeer. You will notice a difference as you move up and down on the center pivot. As for the five way adjustable front Sway Bar I recommend the middle hole and it tends to work very well.

I have the Watts link set one hole up from the middle, if I recall correctly. I loosened the front bar by one hole. It feels pretty good now. I had it in the middle hole when I first installed it, but I didn't like the lazy steering feel, so I put it full tight. That was fine, until I installed the Watts link. I think I'm slowly zeroing in on a cohesive feeling setup. I LOVE how planted the rear feels. I just wish I could get the front to match it. A strut tower brace might be what the doctor ordered.

I think I've unfortunately gone so far out now that I've reached a point where I'm just throwing parts at it. That's why I've made a vow to myself that I won't be doing anything [drastic] to my R.

Looks like new seats did the trick! I installed some Braum Racing seats, and the car feels better than ever! I also ditched the solid rod end LCAs. I just couldn't take the squeaking anymore. :( I put my Bob's Auto Sport billet arms back on and loosened up the rear bar by one hole. I did that before installing the seats, and it made the handling feel less good while not really doing anything about the weird motions I was feeling on corner entries. The steering response is probably as good as it's ever going to be with this steering system, unfortunately. It's not bad, mind you. It's just not what I envision it should be. Maybe another half degree of negative camber would tighten it up.

Anyway, after installing the new seats, everything feels more "alive." I LOVE driving the thing again! I think I have pretty much finally zeroed in on the target I was aiming for. Now, who wants to buy it?? LOL
