I just updated my bushing material to 80a and it seems to be the best. It's is listed as being the strongest type A material

80a was what I ran too. I see no reason to run anything less as there were no side affects and it actually held up to the abuse I gave it.

I'm interested in buying one of these now or if another run is produced in the future. I'm new to the site and apparently cannot PM anyone yet.

I have a dumb question , does the tribar have to be bushed with such material or can it be solid mount ???

^^^ Wondering solid and let the belt absorb it . With big blowers is it worse for bushings (whipping effect ) torque once the rotation catches up to rpm at hit ? The bushing is hard ( solid ) juz about , is it aiding really different then let the belt absorb it ? I'm thinkin it would be less torque on snout if we eliminate bushings .

With solid bushings the threads on the tribar take the brunt and will strip

I don't doubt it as several people went from replacing bushings to breaking lowers once the bushing material got to hard.

I personally feel that the harder bushing material like the 80 will cause this to happen as well because I ve seen it happen before. Unfortunately there hasn't been enough test data to say for sure it causes failure.

I'm running the 80a successfully. Been running it for a while on a 2.3
