BilletFlow throttle body. No matter what I did, the car never idled right. I emailed the company and they sent me instructions which I followed exactly. It's a shame too. The throttle body looks great and seems to be extremely well made. I just put the stocker back on and the car runs and drives perfect.

Magnaflow X-pipe that I sold because of the high pitch sound

Magnaflow catback (which maybe I should have left on)

Flowmaster Catback (sold because not loud enough)

I now have the Borla Stinger which I'm happy with but I wasted all the money from above
The borla stingers are amazing. They really wake up with mac long tubes which were so easy to bolt up compared to other headers. I loved the sound of the lethal performance in catted x too but ended up buying the catted x cuz I was super tired of wasting money on mil eliminators that went bad so fast

I regretted the following MODS :

Hooker long tube headers and matching X pipe with jet hot ceramic coating. The headers were a pain to install and it was a constant battle against, leaks, speed bumps plus the coating flaked off in many places that allowed rust to grow. Rear O2 sensor bungs on the hooker x pipe were welded in the wrong spot.

High flow cats. Cats did not last and car failed inspection with them.

Tore out the Hooker garbage and put the stock 4 cat H pipe back on and JBA shorty headers and all is well.

Innovate LM2. Cheaply made, screen would randomly freeze up. Waste of money.

Deeply regret dealing with Amazon tuning and their "tune for life" service. Nothing but excuses and disappointments. Now have SCT pro racer and I'm happy.

4K hid kit. Dash lights would randomly flicker and blasts would crap out. Put the stock lighting back on.

AEM methonal 5 gallon tank. Took up too much room in the trunk.

Did Doug call you stupid because his throttlebody didn't work? He did to me when I emailed him about mine not idling right. I removed all the billetflow stuff off my car and will never recommend them.

They can't build a throttlebody and their customer service sucks.

in my experience NOTHN will perform as good as the stock TB. even on my Turbo car. some things are simply better left alone and thats one of em imo

He didn't call me stupid but the instructions he sent didn't fix my problem. I tried multiple times to fix the idle problem but nothing worked. I hated to give up on the throttle body but I can't stand a car with drivability problems.

He called me stupid after his "fixes" wouldn't work. He wanted me to drive the car for at least a month with it idling that high. I was watching my logs and the car would pull the max amount of timing it could, and the iac would be completely closed yet the car would still idle 1000+ rpms. I could immediately take the billetflow off and put my accufab on and it would idle at 700. Swap back to the billetflow and it was 1000+.

I even had tuning software and made all the necessary corrections, and even gave the car the ability to pull extra timing out at idle in order to control the idle. All that helped but the problem was the billetflow was as crappy as their customer service.

I have no idea how 04sleeper got the billetflow to work....but he did. It idles fine. I will on occasion have to blip the throttle coming up to a light or stop sign, but I consider that pretty minor for how badass it looks and the hp/tq this car makes. It settles right down to this 850 range and stays there.

That's the one I was thinking of, thanks.

No problem.

It "looks" like this might be the key tip of all that Kevin provided...beyond the 13 step procedure from BF

I will add you "WILL" have to drill out the holes on the TP sensor to get the voltage set correctly. I just removed the metal sleeves inside the bolt holes and it was enough room to get the proper adjustment.

Ahhhh. The Billetflow TB. At least it had the proper "Cam Eccentric" on it. Unlike the Accufab that uses the wrong one from the 2000 Cobra R.

I've had the billetflow tb on my car since I bought it and I've never had a problem with it. Recent regret for me would be getting the 9 inch amsoil air filter instead of a 12 inch s&b. I can't stand how the smaller filter just flops around.
