New hood...

I just got an HO Fibertrends 3" cowl induction style hood. The fit is spot on. The surface took allot work to get the waves out. Be prepared to pay for the labor. I'm pleased though. Very happy with the look.

They used to be at the top with Cervinis for fiberglass hoods. Has their quality gone down? I had 2 Cervinis on my '87 and neither needed any work. Was there a reason you picked them over everyone else?

Don't really care for the stock 11/12 hood so it looks much better!

I'm not sure if their quality has gone down or my standards have gone up? I picked this hood based on the look. I picked the unfinished bottom as it was only 3lbs heavier than stock vs 12lbs heavier finished. I had the underside painted too of course, so it's still pretty and an improvement over my perfect hood liner on the stock hood. I was also able to re-use my paint matched, JLT hood lifters.

Yes I do. I bought my first fiberglass hood (Cervinis), 20 years ago!
