See attached video. I have been have a issue with my oil pressure gauge dropping to zero at idle (after warm up), rev the engine and it goes back up. Replaced the sender unit with a new one, and she went bizerk. Can my gauge pod be going out or what? That's the only gauge I am having an issue with. Any ideas?

My first suggestion is plug in a mechanical guage temporarily to make sure you don't have a bigger engine problem. After you confirm you have cold and hot idle pressure, then we can talk about electrical troubleshooting.

And that's taking a reading from where? Mech or electric? No way that thing has an oil pressure problem, you'd hear it for sure, definitely wouldn't increase.

It was taken from the factory sender unit with an electric guage..

So you've replaced the sending unit, have you removed the extension from the block it mounts to? Verify that it's clear of any obstructions?
