Sqidd paypal never settled in your favor
My mistake. The dispute is still open. They did put the money back in my account. And I think it's fair to say removed it from yours.

nor will they in the future.
I guess we'll see.

You had the chance to rectify the situation.
The only person who could have rectified the situation is you.

I never sent damaged parts,

It doesn't matter what you sent. It matters what arrives.

and if you did receive damaged goods I told you on paypay the claims procedures for UPS,
UPS doesn't pay claims on mis-packaged items.

but UPS never damaged your goods, it's seems you are making this up.
And now you're calling me a liar? Do you think I want to deal with this crap? Deal with you? Deal with any of this? I just want what I paid for. Really, at this point I wish I just let it go and let you off the hook. This isn't worth it.

This isn't about the money or letting me off the hook, it's about doing the right thing. I'll let the community judge this situation themselves, but they should be notified on what happened whether the experience was good or bad.

Mispackaged? With placing the heavy components at the bottom and then wrapping everything and the entire parcel with like 5 pounds of extra paper packing, along with placing fragile labels on both sides? Did you forget I took photos of the entire process? Also there is no money coming from me, as I do not have accounts or do business on paypal, it was created just for this arrangement. You will not get a dime from me, and you may have a tarnished business image. Use this opportunity to rethink your business ethics. I don't want to see any of my fellow forum members to have to experience this themselves.

I want to show everyone on this forum, paypal is showing he wants to take his money back, and keep the supercharger and heat exhanger sent. If anyone wants to loose their parts and have no money at the end, by all means. This forum should not allow him to operate here and rip off my fellow community members. If this would go his way, id have no money, and no supercharger, completely ripped off.

Luckily paypal can't go into your bank account or debit card, and that balance will stay like that until the paypal account is closed. Be careful guys.

The elbow
Pics of damaged components?
The elbow wasn't wrapped in anything and not "tight" in the package. It was able to rattle around in there slamming itself into the blower. That's all it takes to crack the ridge around the gasket. It's thin. A couple of minutes and some bubble wrap and this wouldn't have happened.

No, I told PayPal I would settle for $135.....................or an undamaged elbow.

Whatever transpires i will keep the community updated. I don't deal with PayPal so I don't know this process. The negative balance shows that of the whole transaction. If I had money in paypal I would now be without $350 and my factory supercharger, not a good deal that other members would want to deal with.

One is a business who hasn't really broke any rules because it's all WTB's. Leadfoot, any pictures of the items before packaging? This is really a catch 22 for us. He said, she said crap.

How is this a Catch 22?

First angle.

An item was mis-packaged and damaged during shipping. In what reality is that not the responsibility of the person packaging it? If you ordered something from American Muscle, Lethal, Evolution, Summit, Jegs, etc and it was damaged when it got to you, would you just eat it?

Second angle.

What is my motivation for going to the wall on this? I have stated repeatedly that I don't even care for a monetary refund. I just want an undamaged elbow. The value of that elbow is a rounding error in my inventory. I have piles of those elbows. Why would I even consider "running a scam"? Am I attempting to "scam" myself into multiple elbows? Come on man.

Third angle.

I've already spent way more time in this than this issue is worth. I would have been better in a dollars sens cents perspective just eating the damaged elbow...................a long time ago. This is now turning into the most expensive elbow in existence (time IS money). I wish I had cut bait on this long ago. But now I have someone calling me a liar. I'm invested.

Fourth angle.

I'm a business. My reputation is paramount. Why would I risk any tarnish to my reputation over this?

I don't have the time or the patience for this internet drama bullshit. I'm now "in the hole" on this matter so far it's incalculable. I'm un-subscribing and not checking back. The matter is in PayPal's hands now. That's what really matters at the end of the day.

Good day gents. I'm going to go enjoy the sunshine.

You need to look at this from our (Mods) side of the screen. This is just a he said she said deal. You two need to work it out. Did it get damaged in shipping, did someone drop it opening it up? Do you see where I'm coming from? The 6 reported posts were outta line IMO, but I don't know all the details here. Ask for used parts to try and resell, guess it's gonna happen every once in a while.

Well played LEADfoot927. PayPal is telling me to return everything for a full refund. But you know that would be shooting myself in the foot. It cost me $70 to get the stuff here and would cost $70 to ship it back. I will also burn $20 in shipping supplies packing it all correctly. And then there is my time. That all adds up to more than a replacement elbow costs.

I guess we’ll just have to let Karma handle this one.

You keep acting more and more immature, and your business will suffer more and more. The community will draw their own conclusions from this event. I said this was exactly what was going to happen. Your time is no more valuable than mine, or anyone else in this community. Next time you will learn to better respect those whom you do business with, get damage insurance on your parcels (if the contents were even damaged by UPS), and ensure your employees understand how to handle heavy components in case they inadvertently damage company property (if you even have employees). I can sit here and lecture you how to run your business because I have three business degrees and 14 years leadership experience, but my time and career is just a little more valuable than flipping car parts. I'm done here. Good luck on your future endeavours.

The lesson learned was that you have book knowledge and yet can't box stuff up properly. I looked at the box you used and laughed. You half assed it and stuck the buyer, good on you.

I have purchased over $15,000 worth of stuff from Jason and everything arrived in perfect condition in a properly sized box. People who do business with Jason have absolutely nothing to fear.

You don't know anything about my knowledge or what i do for a living, and there was nothing wrong with my packaging. Good for you that you kniw him, I'm just sharing my experience with the community.
