Dropped the car off with my dad today.
He at least took me to dinner and 100 bucks for my 260 mile round trip.
He said he's going to help me get a terminator next year. It's what I wanted anyways since I had a 04.

Oh and he gave me the 500 bucks I put in the car a few months ago.
So at least I didn't take a loss.
He is supposed to get it going..might drive it a little then sell it later . So I don't think he will take a loss on it. Prob break even worst case.

Yeah 98 saleen cobra.
I kinda didn't have a choice when he bought it. He said he would spend 12 to 15k
Then sends me the pictures of the 97 he got on eBay for 3800.
The car was a pile. It looked nice but needed a ton of work. I do t mind fixing stuff. But all I wanted to do was put my money in go fast parts. Not all the crap I had to do to it. On a good note I got the car like 98 percent done / drivable. He only has to take care of some smog crap.

My dad was trying to do something for me ..not being in my life for 30 years. It was really nice thing to do . but he got cheap trying to save a buck and it is what it is.
I did like the car and if I had a bigger budget I would of just coyote swapped it but I'm not in that kind of financial situation at the moment.

Dropped off my Cobra to my body guy. Re spray on the hood, front bumper and blending the quarter panel due to some peeling clear coat.

Few more things to follow after that.

Finally decided I had accumulated enough parts to start tearing the car down. Working at a mechanic shop with access to a lift and friend who wanted to help/do all the work made this an easy job. Less than 2 hours start to finish.

What are you doing with your engine? My engine is in a tire on the floor in my garage awaiting funds for a rebuild.

Sending the longblock off to beef up the bottem end, do cams and springs, and put on a v2 t trim, unless I come across a JT trim.

^^ Stand by on the JT-trim.. I'm going to see what happens to my car and the power it makes. If it isn't what I want, I'll be looking to move this JT-trim. Which would likely have less than 250mi on it lol.
