I was just in Tuscaloosa last week. Didn't see any Terminators, but you guys have a TON of Challengers.
I live a good bit north of there, almost in Tennessee actually. I go to a few Alabama games each year though in Tuscaloosa and you're right. Tons of challengers and chargers there haha.

I'm up in Southern NH and I can think of 6 Termis off the top of my head that we have within 50 miles of my house. I'm about 30 minutes from Performance Dyno and that's where a good majority of the Cobras go to get tuned. When the weather is nice, yeah they're hard to spot and you don't see them regularly. Mine's the only one I know of that's "local". We have quite a few of them in the club I'm in. My bud's 03 is going to be at WoW this weekend...

They aren't "rare" as in few of them exist but it is rare to see one on the road. I will say it is like that for most older muscle cars that are getting older.

I hardly ever see any SVT Cobra on the road no matter the year.

I remember seeing a ton of 99-02 WS6 and Camaro SS back in the day, now I hardly ever see them.

Imo I think about 30% of these car's have been totaled or salvage rebuilt titles, another good portion have been torn down to race car's (roll bar's, solid axle..yada yada), then you have your very high mileage cobra's bought by kids and riced out..lol, then the middle of road cobra's that are nice, but need some work...

That said it is rare (IMO) to see a well built, low mileage true garage queen LIKE MINE W/ UNDER 20,000 MILES HAHAHA !!!!

They are getting so rare in my area that my wife and I bought a second to keep my original from being so sad. So now we have my SB coupe 20k miles (Built engine, custom 76mm turbo, th440, SRA bla bla bla) and her DSG vert 15k miles (Stock engine, VMP TVS, bassani headers, LM1 exhaust, soon to be 4r75w so she can enjoy it bal bla bla). Picked hers up stock right before the snow hit in Pa and have been wrencing to get it finished for the good weather. I love these cars! We went to price out a 2013 got to have it green Roush vert and said forget that. I already had a ton of parts sitting in boxes from my turbo swap so why not build another one with those parts. Lol

^ Too funny. Same boat- wife vert, me coupe. She's already told me the vert stays around no matter what. I wonder If I can use the "lonely pair" logic to get a third.... LOL.

The heartbreaking part? One of our main shipping hubs is in DeWitt IA, and it is about 50 yards from a Mustang salvage yard "Midway Mustangs". Very nice and professional shop. Awesome owner. But every time I go there...different and new wrecked Terminators.

Man, I wish I lived close to that place. Would be a treasure chest for me to go get cool parts and install them on my 65 (i.e. terminator motor, T-56, interior stuff, etc.) LOL.

I have dealt with Erik through eBay. He is where I got my 3rd brake light harness when I put the original spoiler back on my coupe.

I can only imagine all the cool stuff he has..............

Yea man! I always park my rig outside the place and walk over and look around. The inside shop is really nice too. It's a goldmine there for sure! Lol

I travel all over the US for work. The only one I have seen was a black 10th a couple weeks ago. In Richmond VA area.

Patrick's CO is in my neighborhood and there is a silver one that a girl owns close to us.

Lol. There is a bit more to the story. She wanted a stock vert mustang to cruise around in on sunny days. Her requierments were, automatic and a loud exhaust. Well here I am getting another Cobra, installing a TVS and all the supporting mods along with bassani headers, X pipe and the loudmouth 1 exhaust. Then I picked up a built 4r75w trans and all conversion parts to make it look factory. I think she is going to put a pillow over my face one of these nights. lol
Lucky for me I can install everything myself or cost wise this wasn't going to work out. I think it is still a better car then the 2004 Saleen GT with a 2.1KB that we were looking at. 480rwhp maxed out. No way man! lol
However I am quickly learning that even cars with only 15k miles have had owners that screw things up over the years so I am fixing and re-moding to my standards. Who the hell installs a firewall adjuster with out a quadrent, a lighter weight sway bar on the front than stock, SCT eliminator chip and mil eliminators on the rear O2s. Thank goodness the engine never had a spark plug removed or god knows what would have been installed. I am betting those super performance 4 electrode jobs.

So how many other people get other wise normal cars reving and being D-bags when you get your Cobras out? These cars still get attantion. I only drove the Vert twice last fall after we got it home and before the snow fell. Both times something happened that bugged me and only happened because of what I was driving.

I really don't get revved at. I get the people checking out the paint. It's funny to watch them pass then slow down to watch the colors change.

Pretty thick with them in west ga. I've seen around 10 in area. Just a seen "new" Silver Cobra the other day with a damaged front drivers fender. The Teal Terminator was in my hometown for a couple years. With that being said. There only one last year in the car show at the nmca/nmra all-stars at Commerce.

I get rev'd at all the time.... A few Camaros but a fair amount are '05 and up Mustang owners. Not versed on the rev language tho.. is it like the Jeep Wrangler wave, or perhaps the extended low arm biker acknowledgement? LOL.

In a 50 mile radius of where I am, we have a pretty good showing of 03/04s. I'd say a dozen that I can think of, but I know there are many more. 1 CO, 2 RF, 2 MG, 1 ZY, 3 BK, 1 teal, 1 TR

LMAO! I was explaining to my Wife the other day how I would hate to be a biker. The obligatory wave would get so tiring after a while, lol.

Out in Brooklyn, I've only ever seen one. It was red with gold Cobra bumper lettering. I would imagine that they're all in Long Island since you really can't do anything in the city.

I'm in Long Island not far from you. I know of at least 10-12 in the Nassau Suffolk area. Not sure in the boroughs. You should come meet up with us Friday's at bellmore or sundays at captree

In the 13 years I've had this car, I've seen 5 Cobra's in the Philly Metro area, 2 Mystichrome's (seen 10 years ago and never again), 1 Sonic Blue, 1 DSG and 1 SY. I know two of the owners, so the rest of them are lurking somewhere. It's just really rare to see them on the street around here. My car gets a lot of attention, both at shows and on the street. If I had a dollar for every question I've been asked about the paint/supercharger, I'd have enough money to buy another one.

There is at least 20 Terminator owners that I know personally in Northeast OH.

I think 75% of them came here.
