Are there any physical differences between the borla s types and the touring? My friend just got a mustang and don't know which ones they are if there any differences let me know cuz if there S types I'm buying them off him

The s-type are round and smaller than the touring mufflers, which are oval

i have the S-Type on my '12. They are not round, but oval as well. They seem to be the same size as the Touring. I believe the Attak are round.

They are easy to install, put them on your car and fire it up to see how you like them. Touring mufflers are usually a step above a stock muffler if I remember correctly, those S types should be pretty loud.

You are correct on the step up from stock. The S type sound just slightly louder than stock at idle. WOT is much louder. The Attak is much loader at both idle and WOT.

The S type seems to be a great 'in between".

Ah ok, that explains my setup then. The idle was not much different than stock at idle but it screams at WOT, especially after building the exhaust more and more.

How would you sort by volume between GT500, Borla S, Roush, and Borla attack? Was the order I put them in accurate?

I would have to guess on the Roush.

Your order is correct for Borla. The Borla Touring is between the GT500 and Borla S-Type.

I would guess the Roush is between the Attak and S-Type.
