It's amazing how convoluted the info is with these cars on the other forums. I've been reading about that and as far as I know this one has the upgrades e-focus mount (2015) I still have yet to actually drive the car as the roads are awful. And my gf have a long drive every day so it needs to remain smooth as possible

My car had the e focus mount. If you're not gonna beat on it then it should be fine, but a hard launch or 2 gear scratch and you'll get a loud bang from motor/trans smacking firewall

Still enjoy mine. Got some front end suspension issues I'm trying to work through though.

What's wrong with it? I've fought camber issues with mine

I have something terribly loose. I feel like it's either the strut bearings or the top hats for the struts. It's just all out of whack. It knocks and makes a roaring noise at times. I just haven't had time to dive into it

can you at least pinpoint a side that way you only disassemble necessary parts? Kinda interested in what it is. Also how many miles and is it lowered?

its mainly the drivers side but both sides are rattling. On occasion when accelerating at 80% ill hit a small bump and it sounds like someone hit the bottom of the car with a hammer. The car has been lowered for 15k miles on mountune springs. however the 2015 cars are lower than 13/14 cars stock so the car was only actually lowered 5/8" lower than the stock springs.

I feel like the struts are loose or the tophat is loose... maybe its allow the wheel to change camber and causing the odd roaring. I dont know. Im just going to tear apart the drivers side and take the strut out and inspect it. It doesnt ride or sound like a blown strut though. I just feel like once I get into it I'll find something thats loose from when they lowered it.

only have 1 car at the moment though, my truck is getting a motor swap and will hopefully get it back this week. Once I have it to drive I'll just tinker with the focus and leave it in the air until I find the issue.

You might try taking the sway bar end links loose and go for a drive, see if you still have noise. Not on a Focus, but I have had those throw me for a loop on other cars. For some reason sometimes they make a heavier clunk/rattle than you would expect.

upper Motor mounts make clanking and roaring/vibration. I know it took a while for us to pinpoint
