amazing kit!

Now just adapt the front calipers to the S197 (since I can't afford the 6k club race kit to keep up with Drew) pls.

I have a feeling that despite my street car purspose for the S550 that some day this kit will end up on it.

We may work on something in the future for the S-197 chassis.

Excellent! I am looking to do a square 10" HRE setup on the new car, so I will keep this in mind. I am really interested in it! Keep up the good work.

Don't know how I missed this.

Great job mating the GT350 hardware to the GT suspension. Nice to have factory parts in place as opposed to an aftermarket BBK if you ever have a problem down the road. Thumbs up Bruce!

I just purchased this kit and I am looking into new wheels. I know the rear wheel gets pushed out some due to the e-brake and I now need a wheel with the GT350 rear offset but does the front wheel get pushed out any? Its clear in the before/after photos of the rear that the rotor is visibly further out on the studs and almost flush with the hub. Do you have any before/after photos of the front to see if they get pushed out to?

Correct, the rears are bumped out approximately .270". The front offset does not change.

I just finished the install and took the car for a ride. WOW is all I gotta say. This thing stops on a dime and gives you back 9¢ change! I have never been in a better braking car in my life, just amazing.

I'm happy to report I came from a Premium GT Auto brake car to this and everything works as it should. The rear brakes work so good now I can actually feel the rear antilock kick in which I have never felt on a mustang before.

Great job guys!

Thanks, We were pretty amazed with the results as well. We did the swap on to a base GT that came with 4 piston calipers.

Thanks, Unfortunately the 19" PP wheels do not clear, but any wheels that fits the Shelby GT350 will. We went with Project 6GR 19" wheels.
Did you use the R-spec wheels? I'm not sure I quite understand. The Project 6GR wheels (as far as I know) have the same fitment as the OEM PP wheels. I should hope so, I've bought four of them LOL. I bought the non R-spec wheels, 19x10 front and 19x11 rear.

I'll need clarification on that point, but if it's all good and I order the rear conversion kit, would it be possible for the calipers to be painted please? The Australian Mustangs (where I'm from) have black front calipers with red Brembo writing on them. I would order the black calipers and if you could arrange for them to painted - of course I'd pay extra for this - that'd be very much appreciated.

If you can't/won't, can you please recommend what type of paint should be used and I'll get someone over here to do it?

Thanks.

The Project 6GR wheels are replica GT350 wheels and have the same measurements as the GT350 wheels. The OEM PP wheels will not fit over the GT350 brakes. You would have to find someone or a paint shop to paint the calipers.

Will the brakes work with the 20" X 9" Foundry Black-Painted Machined Aluminum Wheels and an automatic Trans? I had read some where that you had to change the booster to go to the six piston brakes on an auto.

+1 there is a lot of conflicting info out there for the auto cars concerning the boosters and such. Strongly considering the front conversion for my auto GT.
